The hemostats do not close on the first click. This is the reason of the 4 stars. The finish could have been better but for the cost this is ok.

I guess you get what you pay for. The scissors part isn't sharp and the forcep part doesn't close unless locked. Useless.

This little unit works perfect for me when I'm fishing. Stainless steel is corrosion resistant and the size is just right. The combo cutter and clamp works perfect.I liked it so much, I bought another one for a backup!

I used these on a bass fishing trip over the weekend. We caught a lot of fish and removing the hooks was easy with these Hemo's. Love the compact length - easy to fit in the tackle box. Great buy and a great price.

I don't believe that the tool sent is the tool pictured. If this is stainless steel, it is super low quality. Also, the jaws don't close all the way, about 1/16th inch gap. Won't cut braid fishing line. Not sure why they got all the positive reviews, this pair doesn't deserve one star. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

These are a nice, compact pair of hemostats. I use a small sling pack for fishing and these fit my minimalist pack quite well. The jaws are strong enough for crimping small splitshot, as well as, holding small hooks to simplify tying them on your line. If your intent is to use them for removing deeply hooked fish, you may want a longer pair.
