I've tried leaders from other companies; they're fine, but I seem to always come back to Rio. Take the time to straighten out the leader before your first actual cast, and for the life of the leader you'll have no issues. I noticed some kinking when winding around my reel seat occasionally as I hike to different spots on the water, however they are easily straightened out with a little heat/friction and tension. I've purchased single and 3 packs in 7.5 foot and 9 foot lengths in 3x and 5x, and have never been disappointed.

Very functional I would recommend buying a tippet ring to make them last longer. Rio makes ones that are just fine.
