I didn't use for fishing, working in Alaska there are a lot of rats and large ones. I used the steel leader and clamps to tie off to a stake and rat trap to stop the rats from getting away. They chewed on the wire, but didn't get through. Realy easy to use.

good stuff. doesn't rust. get more 1.3mm double barrel crimp sleeves as it only comes with a few.
