I use this for copper and PVC and it's perfect for that, a real time saver. I really think it's worth the investment. Yes it's pricy but it will save you time when you don't have to look for usable sandpapers.

Real upgrade from what I was using ,instead of using a file .It says it has 45 sharp edges and I believe them. I did not even attempt to count them they are so small. However if there's 40 or 50 I really don't care . Its a slick little unit that's a time saver and easy to keep in your tray .Really works in no time and gets the job done . Just bought the larger one to go with it, I'm that happy with the results.

Acheté pour remplacer un ébavureur VIRAX (pourtant une marque professionnelle) qui n'avait que 3 lames disposées en triangle et qui ne faisait qu'un travail de boucherie, notamment pour l'ébavurage externe.Avec l'ébavureur RIGID, on dispose d'un nombre hallucinant de lames (45 d'après la fiche produit mais je ne les ai pas compté) disposées en cône plein. Testé sur un tube en cuivre de d.14 : l'utilisation est super fluide, sans aucun à-coup dans les rotations sur le tube et le résultat est absolument parfait aussi bien en ébavurage interne qu'externe.Produit d'excellente qualité. A acheter les yeux fermés pour qui recherche à ébavurer très proprement.

I know what you're thinking... How can this tiny little reaming tool be worth approx. $40.00.Before I began using these, I thought the same but several plumbers and electrician friends let me try theirs and I was instantly sold!It's really not until you look closely inside this reamer that you see an extremely high-tech, very highly detail reaming system, something looking almost sci-fi.The many sharp ribs cut and smooth with very little effort and because they fill the tube, you don't need to spin the reamer completely around the pipe. It really does bevel an chamfer with little effort.If you watch YouTube plumbing videos as most guys do, you'll see this Ridgid tool in most of them.Great tool, absolutely worth the cost. Hope to have this for many years.

Takes the burrs out of pipes with a handful of turns. A must if using crimps. Easy to use and has a ton of teeth.

This is a very effective reamer as it has more “blades” than most. Only complaint is that it is made in China .

Take full advantage of the 45 cutting edges in this design versus the one to four blades on inferior low cost reamers. This reamer works quickly for inside or outside. Sits well even if the edge is uneven. Results are nearly always guaranteed after just a few twists versus twist and check, twist and check... What you save in time and frustration will easily cover the price.

Hesitated to buy this because of the price and the fact that I’m pretty good with a swiveling deburr tool, but I have a couple thousand feet of conduit to run so I gave in and paid the $40. I’m glad I did. This makes fast work of cleaning up ID and OD of metal conduit cuts. Nice and heavy, very sturdy, lots of blades so you don’t have to adjust your grip or position. I’d buy it again.
