Solidly made PVC cutter. I used it for several cuts on 2" and 1.5" pipe and it cut both cleanly and straight. Beats a hacksaw or a reciprocating saw any day. Great for a DIYer.

Great pvc pipe cutter. The only problem is getting the exact replacement blades. The replacements here don't work as well as the original blade that comes with the cutter. I plan to email the manufacturer and see where I can get the original blades. The replacement blades squish the pipe which isn't good at all. So, cutter awesome. Replacement blades not so good.

I only used this cutter on 1 1/2 inch pipe and it was very difficult for me to keep them straight enough for a usable cut. The first cut I made with it was on and old piece of 1 1/2 inch pipe and the cutter broke the pipe after just a couple of strokes. Left me with a lot of grinding and filing to repair the top of pipe (broke it pretty jagged). Would only recommend these if you don't need particularly good cuts (but at least it doesn't leave plastic sawdust in your pipes), but even though it makes crooked cuts it didn't break a piece of my new pipe!

I'm really wondering where the reviews come from... 4.3*? No way, on first cut the blade is dull and forget about clean cut ..Simply look at the pictures... Explains itself!

The 5 stars is based on performance per price, and not implying that it's as good or better than tools that cost many times more. I only used it to cut flexible rubber and PVC hoses so far, but it did that very well. Haven't tested it on hard PP or ABS plastic, because I ended up not needing to replace those parts yet. It's not the tightest, most perfectly aligned and super-heavy-duty tool ever made, but it does the job at an extremely cost-effective price, which is all I need right now.

I’ve always used a saw on larger pipe but needed to cut without debris, so I decided to give this a try. It cut 2” sch. 40 like butter. No more sawing for me. The price is good and it’s higher quality than I expected.
