Use with 14 lb dog. Love that he can run around while I stand still. The slider that cleans and straightens the lead broke off.

Quality, but note it is BIG and can be heavy for some. It doesn't work for me as my dogs are both under 25 lbs, but I wanted a leash which allowed the dogs to stray out for many feet so they can explore, like being off the leash, but not. Giving to my sister who dog sits some massive dogs. This goes up to 110 lbs. Great product but pay attention to the size.

Love the long length of this leash. It gives room for the dog to roam.HORRIBLE retractation. The leash has very poor retraction and gets tangled often.Would NOT buy again

This retractable leash is larger than expected, as I was used to a medium weight 15ft retractable, and could easily accommodate someone with large hands. While my dog is only 54lbs, it's definitely strong enough for a large dog. The strap is over a 1/2" wide and the snap-hook is roughly finger length, not small enough to get lost in your hand like many leashes. The brake works perfectly. I haven't tried the lock. I expect this product should last for a quite a while. My only complaint is the persistent whining sound as the leash plays out. My previous leash was nearly silent. But this is just being picky.

This leash is a great value for the money. I have a 80lb BlackMouth Cur that is incredibly strong. She is a service animal but when not working she likes to act like a normal dog. She pulls sometimes and can pull me over if she really wanted too (when she was younger she did now she's 13yrs old). I'm 6' 175lbs and I can plant my feet and still go over just to give you an idea of her strength, but with this lead she seems to not do any of that because she usually does it just to go smell something and with 20+ feet of lead there is plenty of room for that. I am not sure that it would hold up to a large or extra large dog that was a constant puller or yanker, better yet I can say with confidence I wouldn't trust it for certain dogs. It is nice and strong its woven well the actual leash part. There is a good connector and a metal director for the cord. ONLY issue I have had is that when far out it won't retract sometime you have to twist the leash physically to get it to straighten out so the cable can retract but other than that its great.
