Bought this with high hopes to replace my old and dead walkie-talkie headset. First time I tried to use I could hear everybody just fine, but noone could hear me. So if you're looking for a listen-only device, this will work; if you really want to two-way communicate, find another product.

We use walkie talkies at our store to communicate to team members. We had tried 3 different in ear prices to very mixed reviews. This ear piece is the overall winner as it is lightweight and lies outside the ear

i have small ears and expect some minor difficulties with different earpieces but this was completely incompatible. even if my ears were “normal” size- it would’ve been an awkward fit. the full plastic loop this product design has just makes it more difficult for a good fit in my opinion.

High school football official here. We use Retevis RT22 walkie talkies for our games. I’ve gone through and discarded the clear coiled acoustic tube earpiece (kept popping out, or worse, the tip came off on in my ear canal); then the S-shaped earpiece with the little hanging speaker (speaker kept turning during games to where I could not hear well); and now finally this over-the-ear earpiece. I discovered my ears are different sizes and this earpiece fits better on one ear, so I strung the cord under my uniform shirt accordingly. I wish the cord from the microphone to the earpiece was coiled and flexible like other earpieces but otherwise this should do the trick. First test comes up in next week’s first round of playoff games. Great price.

They work well, the button clicks great and engages 100% of the time. The shirt clip is stronger than I would expect and rotates around while holding on perfectly. Once you wear it for a while and flex the little hook inwards a bit, it's really comfortable and unnoticeable. However, a considerable issue is that the mic level is lower than we would like. Especially with masks, you effectively have to talk with a normal or even considerably loud in door volume to get the message across, even with the mic close to your mouth. This can be fine for some things, but in a retail environment, this can result in people around you hearing what you're saying and that isn't always preferred. It's like that all on of our units so I don't think they're defective, they just have low volume mics. They're not terrible by any stretch, but far from perfect. However, they are, aside from the mic, perfect and have survived retail work for a while now. Getting wet, banged up. They don't feel cheap and clearly hold their own. With that being said, would love to see the mic be improved.
