I've had this for almost a full year now. I work 40 plus hours a week and this is still in good working condition with no issues!

I use this in my left ear with an Apex 4000 radio and when it only came with R-ear inserts I sent an email to the customer service dept. They responded within days and sent me a new set for the L-ear. I was very pleased with their rapid response and service; the device lasted 8-hour shifts (LEO) for months. Unfortunately, I switched departments, and my new radio is different and incompatible. I would recommend this product to others

The sound quality is great. The length of the wires and ear mold is great. Biggest problem, when you use the open ear set, it doesn't like to stay connected to the acoustic tube. This causing me to lose the size that fits my ear.If the manufacturer can fix this,I would gladly give 5 stars.

Worked great for first 6 months. Now I have difficulty with it working. Once you disconnect the plug in connection near the clip up top, I have difficulty getting it to work again. Had to remove it to wash vest cover. Was also difficult to feed through vest cover. Now we have newer radios and will be trying the single pin listen only that plugs into mic port.

I have been using this particular earpiece for 6 months now, and it has worked flawlessly. The sound quality is excellent for me and others say that I sound clear when I transmit. There are so many advantages to having the radio's sound go straight into your ear. For example, if you are in law enforcement, you can be more stealthy. A shoulder mic or naked handheld radio can give away your position or information you don't want a suspect hearing. It will also eliminate the feedback that everyone else hears when an officer keys up his radio next to yours. This is a huge tactical benefit because in stressful situations, people forget to turn down their radios and incoming officers often can't understand what is being transmitted. If you share a car with other radio users (like FTOs), no more feedback. This also makes it easier to keep track of everything that happens on the radio. My only complaint about this particular earpiece is that the cable could be a bit longer. It's not a deal breaker, but taller guys might have to be a bit more creative with the placement of the mic. It's fine for me, but I'm not tall. Here's a word of advice. If you get this, wear it for at least 2 weeks before deciding if you like it. Everyone that tries these things seems to hate them at first, and most people quickly give up on them. This isn't my first earpiece. I have used them for many years and found it weird and uncomfortable at first. It takes some time for your brain to adjust to the difference in ambient sounds, because you probably aren't accustomed to having something partially blocking the sounds coming into 1 ear. But the human brain is amazing in how it eventually adjusts.Once I got past the acclimation period, it didn't bother me at all. Now, I wouldn't want to work without it. I find that wearing an earpiece is so much better than the alternatives.Just get it, and don't wuss out after a shift. You will thank yourself if you stick it out.
