This item is junk. I unpacked it and put in new batteries. The selection buttons below the display don't work properly. I put it on the 'How Often' setting and within 3 button pushes none of the settings buttons worked. I couldn't change the delay time, I would instead cycle through the zones two at a time...I got either 2 or 4, this while pressing the delay + button. Then nothing would change no matter what I pressed. It tried the 'How long' setting and got random jumps and the nothing would change. I am torn between getting a replacement or just getting my money back.

I decided to give this time a try. I don’t think the reviews were great, but it’s working fine for me. I noticed that the pressure was dropping on each of the zones. I thought it was a water pressure input, but it wasn’t. I took the timer back off and ran it through its set up procedure for making sure the valves work properly. Then I put fresh batteries in it. Works like a charm now. I’m pretty sure it was the batteries that made the difference.

This unit is great for when you're on vacation and need to keep your garden and plants watered. Programming and manual control take a little getting used to, though.

This timer is easy to hook up and use. It works perfectly. Programming is particularly easy with the selection knob---the various functions are quickly accessed. Unlike other timers that I have used, this one allows me to set watering intervals as frequently as a few times a day, or as long as every several days, so it is very flexible. I bought it because I needed the 4 TIMED outlets, and switching among them for programming is simple and easy. My timer has been in daily use for a month and a half and it has done its job without fail and without leaks. Don't overlook the excellent brass fittings! I definitely recommend this timer.

This is a great product, but it didn't quite fit my needs as it didn't give me the flexibility to choose watering on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I contacted the seller and they were responsive right away, and explained that this timer couldn't meet the needs of my watering schedule. They sent me a different Restmo timer that works perfectly for my needs and took the time to explain and make sure I understood how to program it.The bones of the timers are the same, so my review will apply to this timer as well generally. Great quality connections even without using the included teflon tape, great options for timer settings, manual watering, and rain delay, and easy to understand display.Makes life 100% easier in these hot summers! My plants are watered before I finish my morning coffee and before the day gets hot.

I've been using Orbit timers for years, but after they let me down last year by not delivering a promised replacement for a product under warranty that died halfway through the season, I decided it was time to look elsewhere. I was pleased to see this Restmo getting decent reviews and decided to pay a little more and wait and see.I'll update this review if my opinion changes, but so far, I'm impressed. I have a few plants in my garden that are drought resistant and over-watering them can result in no crop. So I was pleased to see that there was a 6 day function. Not an option I've had until now.Also, I've been seeing reviews that commented on how difficult this timer is to program, but I did not find that to be true. Between the written directions and the videos they offer, you've got lots of information on how to do this. Everything is clearly marked. The videos are the right mixture of audio, images, and written directions.So far, the only complaint I have is that the manual setting wasn't especially intuitive and it took some tinkering with it to work out what they meant when they said to use the plus or minus buttons to include (or not) the different zones. However, once I worked it out, it was easy to use them to run a leak test on each zone.

This timer sets up differently than other timers I’ve used. Definitely read instructions before you insert batteries. As others have noted, the station number has to be underlined if you want to water manually—the picture in the instructions shows it but does not “say” it. And if you change “how long” for a manual watering (e.g., when testing) a station, be sure to change it back to what you want it set to for the automatic watering because what you set for “how long” is how long for both manual and automatic. It is not difficult to use, and after I get used to it I think it will be easier. And the top already has the stations numbered, and in white—YAY! —& so easy to see! I’ve always had to use magic marker to number the stations and it wears off.

This timer which we connect too a soaker hose to water outdoor plants and shrubs is the best thing ever. We are away at camp a lot so now our plants are watered every morning and evening and every day. It’s Wonderful

I set it and left it. Hot dry summer and had new grass planted. This worked great! Of course I brought in the house in the fall so nothing would freeze.Great value for the money!

I set up sprinklers across my entire yard. I used this timer to rotate between the yard sections and it worked perfectly. It was easy to program and works just as expected. I did not attach it to my house with the screws and just hooked it to my faucet outlet. It worked just fine and I just took it down for winter.

It was amazing for the first 3-4 months, and then I noticed it was watering everything multiple times a day, even though I had it set for once a day. I changed the batteries and even let it send days without power, which did not fix the issue. I wish I had never bought this and got two better-quality dual-timers.
