exceeded expectations. i got the unit with brass rather than plastic connectors. Clear instructions, easy to program and a great alternative to standard water valves and a separate timer. Ideal for smaller areas. Easy to connect with short hose to PVC pipes.

This is my newest RAINPOINT timer with 2 outputs. Beside the solid brass connections the sealing design of the sensitive battery case seems promising to support the outdoor environmental conditions. Had many problems with competitor products, which failed in the second season of usage (water intrusion through the battery case). Also liked the easy programming and warranty submission.

started leaking both outlets less than 2 months after started using. AFter leaving review, selling contacted with option to replace or try upgrade. They sent upgrade to try, I received quickly, installed and is working great so far. Will update after using for while.

Fairly impressed with this timer. Never had one before and realizing I should of got one years ago. Seems to work very well so far and I'm able water the lawn as needed without as much time or effort. Fairly easy to program and set up. Runs well and no leaks so far. I've had it about a month and it truly helped keep a fairly new lawn alive through the hot summer months.

Wanted a 2 zone timer to control the drip irrigation on my front and side yard setup. This one had brass connections which I wanted vs plastic since the plastic ones for me tend to leak and break down faster. So far this season it has worked flawlessly and zero leaks when using a tiny bit of tape around connection point. Easy to setup and haven't had to touch it beyond starting a manual watering a few times when it was really hot.

This timer is well made and so far is reliable. Would recommend the extra cost of the brass fittings. The only issue is priming the valve the first time and learning how to program it, which is a bit tedious but once you figure it out it works well. I would recommend this timer.

Product worked fine for about 6 months but then one of the two outlet flows stopped. Zone 1 stopped working but zone 2 still flows OK** Update ** I reached out directly to Rainpoint customer service and they could not have been more helpful. They immediately sent me a replacement and it was excellent communication throughout.
