I have this thermometer and another in the tank just in case one doesn't work and this one is very accurate. Its cute and adds to the crested geckos decor. I did have to glue the magnet because it just kept falling out. Great product and I would highly recommend.

I absolutely love the look of this thermometer in my bearded dragon’s tank! The temperature and humidity are within 1 degree/percentage of my Govee thermometer. I won’t be using it as my primary means of tracking temps since the Govee is app connected, but it is cute.The negative - It does not come with any directions so it took me a while to figure out how to insert the battery (you need a screwdriver and a little tray pulls out of it to insert the battery). It only requires 1 battery but is shipped with 2. It also took me a while to figure out how to change it from calculus to Fahrenheit (tiny white button on the back). The thermometer piece is also pretty fragile. Full disclosure - I dropped this piece while trying to insert the battery. It may be because of the drop, but I have noticed that the thermometer has randomly reset to Celsius. I wish they had found a way to actually incorporate the thermometer piece instead of just attaching it via magnet yo the tree.Overall, it’s a cute piece of decor and a fantastic idea but could definitely be made better.

Easy to put battery in and snap thermometer into tree. Took a matter of just couple minutes. Took longer to find a place inside vivarium to put it then to put together, LOL. Read out is spot on. Has a nice weight to it, so won't tip over easy at all. I will definitely purchase more. Perfect for a hermit crab tank! Highly recommend!
