Product works for a generalized reading. Not always 100% accurate but never more then 6 or 7 degrees off (that I have seen). I keep it in a crested gecko enclosure and since they are a hardy reptile that I don't need tight temperature range for, it works great! The back sticky tab hasn't fallen off yet either(have been in 60-100% humidity for 2 months now).

Like the great accuracy of this analog, no battery thermometer that’s NOT made in China.The dial would be easier to read if it was a bit bigger in diameter, but that would bump up costs and this is a very inexpensive instrument.
