This globe is beautiful, I will spend days studying it closely. I love the topographical raised mountain ranges. I love the time zone dial, and the 23.5° tilt, and the realistic size of Greenland, and the label Gulf of MEXICO. It was carefully packed and arrived in pristine condition. Now leave me be, I'm studying geography.

I read a lot of people’s complaints, but i think they’re just making crap up because they dropped the globe and messed it up and are just trying to get there money back so they can buy another one. Be careful to not drop your globe! This is an excellent glove. Perfectly lined up. Great colors. Stable base. Accurate axis and marketing and lines and what not. Highly recommend.

I teach ~175 boisterous preteens. They love to smack this globe, spin it with a lot of force, and poke it hard to point out locations. This thing has taken quite a few tumbles (almost daily) onto the classroom floor with absolutely no damage whatsoever. The kids are always afraid that they broke it, and then immensely relieved when they see that the globe has withstood another beating. Its durability compared to its weight is outstanding. Teachers (or people with children around) — this is the one!

This globe has been effective and invaluable for our studies. We've been impressed by the details. It looks gorgeous as a centerpiece so it is not something I feel needs to be picked up and put away if we have company come. We also like the ships and dates of their voyage. Overall it has been perfect for our needs and we are enjoying it as a learning tool.

This is a really pretty, simple, vintage globe. It came well protected and packaged well. It’s large but not sure why the description said blue ocean b/c it’s not. It’s a cream, off-white. The base is really nice, pretty good wood tones & it seemed sturdy. I also didn’t see that it was raised relief so it wasn’t the flat surface I had been expecting. Unfortunately I had to return. I would recommend if you’re looking for a vintage touch and old school looking globe. Remember, it has raised surfaces! Also I felt it was pricey for what it was.

A fine globe for general use. Excellent overall appearance, good for general reference. The country boundaries are a bit hard to see, deliberately, since it uses a limited color palette for effect rather than multiple bright colors like a teaching model. Well-constructed; there is one area where the lines of longitude don't align perfectly, but it's in the middle of the pacific and doesn't affect overall appearance and utility. Well-made with metal stand and holder. A nice desktop model for display and reference. And an outstanding price.

It was easy to assemble. I think it only had two parts, and It was packaged properly. It's not heavy, made of plastic, seems like you could easily fit it on any table or desk with no problems.I purchased the globe as a gift for my daughter who is currently in college. We have both used the globe numerous times since Christmas.It's eye catching but not in the way that you would use for decor only. This is more of a hands on globe to be used as it's function, a globe.We love the coloring and raised mountainous areas. The lettering is average or small. So if you have very poor eye sight you might not want this globe. That's the only negative description I have for it.If you're looking for a globe to use as a reference for geographical or other reasons it's perfect. It has a lot of information on it. Great for any age I would say.I highly recommend it.
