Great for any kiddo who wants to learn more about different countries and the planet. My son has really enjoyed learning and playing on his globe. Picked this one specifically because of Bindi Erwin.

I purchased this for my great grandson who will be starting school (1st grade) soon. He's very intelligent and I want to keep him going in this direction. As he proceeds through his schooling I'm sure this globe will become a asset in his learning!

My grandchildren were delighted with the GeoSafari globe! I liked the various information they could receive. The globe asks them to find a place, ocean, mountain range, etc. It also gives information about specific countries, states, & cities. As they use the globe, they will discover many more ways to explore the world.

My daughter requested this gift from Santa, it was the one item she really wanted. When we received the box, it appeared perfect and undamaged, so we were not worried about opening it before Christmas Eve which ended up being a mistake. Christmas Eve, we opened the box and placed in new batteries. The pen didn't work and wouldn't turn on, so we tried two new sets of batteries with no luck. We made up an elaborate story, and left a note from "santa" saying the item had "fallen off the sleigh but Santa would send another one that worked". We still haven't received a reply from customer service to simply replace the pen, so here we are on January 2nd while my daughter hopes for santa to send a new globe. We're going to be forced to return this; I'm leaning toward ordering a new globe from another business as I'm pretty disappointed to not have received any replacement or acknowledgement. It's a bummer because it appears to be a nice globe. If I get a reply in the next day or so before returning I will update this review as I'm still hoping the delay is because of the holidays.Update: Still zero response from this company (as others have said). I was able to score a black friday deal on this and now there is no replacement option, you have to return and buy a new one. We will be going to another company because there is zero customer service. Extremely disappointed.

At first we loved this globe, and it kept our daughter entertained for a long time while learning facts about the world. However, the talking pen is now extremely quiet. It’s very difficult to hear anything it’s saying, and the volume button doesn’t work. We tried replacing the batteries and that didn’t help. I reached out to the manufacturer about getting a replacement pen, but I never heard back from them. I wish there was a way to buy a replacement pen.Update: I’m changing my review to four stars because the manufacturer eventually got back to me. They did replace the pen, and we are very grateful! I’m just hoping this new pen continues to work for a long time.

This is a nice looking, well made globe. The gimmick with this is that, when you use the pen which comes with it, you can get some facts about different parts of the world. The USA has more information, but, as these things go, its a pretty good way for your children to learn. I like this a lot.

If you are looking for a way for your kids to learn more about the world, then this is the toy to get. My kids have been asking for a globe since we have been talking about where all of our family lives. We have a USA map from Learning Resources, but they wanted to see the whole world. This talking globe was a perfect way for me to get a globe, but also have something informative for them to learn. I ordered this toy from Amazon and the box was huge! I was expecting a problem in the packaging, but the globe was intact and it actually took me some time to get it out of the box. So, I am glad that for the price, the globe came safely in the package. There was nothing to assemble except to add the batteries. That’s my kind of toy! I couldn’t get the batteries in fast enough. The kids wanted to play with it right away. I let them explore while I read the instruction manual to see what we could do with this globe. Our favorite feature is all of the animals you can learn from each country. The kids figured that out on their own while I was reading the manual. All I hear now is “Mom.. did you know “this animal” lives in “this country”? And then they share the fact that they learned. I learned that reindeers are real and live in Russia!! That’s my daughter’s favorite fact. Every day, I am learning about more and more animals. Another really cool fun fact that the kids can do is to measure the distance between cities. The pen tells you how many miles or kilometers it is from city to city. It refers to different objects, like how many Eiffel Towers you lay between the two cities. The kids love that more than the mileage. They just keep pressing two different cities and wait to hear the objects and how many it takes to fill that distance in. The one feature we probably will need to explore more is the USA option. You can learn about cities and capitals just in the United States. The kids are more excited about learning about the different countries and continents, that the
