The colors are super bright, and the details are amazing. It's like having a mini version of the whole world right in our room. It spins really smoothly, so it's fun to look at different countries and continents. We always want to check it out and reminds us of our geography for school or personal purposes. I would recommend getting this globe whether for educational purposes or to serve as a decorative item.

My kid is into geography right now, and he loves this globe. I didn't think he would actually use it as much as he does. He marks on it, and it wipes off easily. It's easy for him to locate countries and other areas on it. We did notice that Tigris is named on the globe but not Euphrates, so I am curious what other areas are missing. The colors are nice and vibrant. The globe also feels like good quality. It is smaller than the globes I've seen in classrooms growing up, but it's a good size for my 11-year-old.

I got this for our 2 year and 5 year old grandchildren to introduce the world to them. For my purpose this is great. At a total height of 12 inches and fairly lightweight, it is easy for them to move it around. It is also shiny, smooth, very colorful, and spins around nicely, all of which gets their attention. The US states and the countries all seem to be nicely outlined. Our 5 year old likes playing school and making believe she is the teacher, thus using the magnifying glass while looking at the globe details and using the markers to "teach" certain areas. The globe only rotates sideways and doesn't rotate up or down which makes it a little difficult to see things at the lower ends but overall, it is a great globe. I haven't checked it all over to see if everything is accurate but it appears to be good and will serve us well for a few years.

This globe has a good learning tool for my daughter and a nice addition to our home. As she's been learning about geography in school, having this physical globe at home has helped reinforce her lessons while sparking her curiosity about the world. The globe's 9 inch diameter is the perfect size because it's large enough to clearly read country names and geographical features, but not so big that it takes up too much of her desk space. The names are printed in high definition which makes it easy for her to find and identify the countries and oceans she's learning about. Plus, she she loves being able to spin it around! The metal base keeps the globe stable while she spins it and the globe itself is well built. As a parent, I like that the globe has a rewritable surface so we can mark features or routes on the globe and then erase them afterward. I would recommend this globe to anyone who wants a nice looking children's globe that's both educational and decorative.

Nice globe.I am a HAM radio operator and I am on the hunt for a nice detailed globe to locate contacts. This globe has the best stand I have seen. It is constructed of metal! Some are flimsy plastic that are not even designed well enough to hold the weight of the globe. This globe also came with two nice markers with erasers and a small magnify glass. I have not seen that with another's I have purchased.I would have liked a little more detail on the map. Maybe the manufacturer decided it was not large enough for more detail. What is there is good quality, just more detail would be nice.Great for a learning aid with the ability to draw on the globe.

This is a great gift for any child for an educational Christmas gift. It is a little pricey, but the quality should lend itself to longer life for the globe with use from a child which may be robust, lol. Recommended.
