This product already has high customer ratings so another 5 star isn’t going to do much but I wanted to comment on the customer service. First if you’re in the market for a dash cam, this one is worth the try. The dual camera system is great and easy to install. Lots of features. And the suction cup mount holds securely.I did have the forward facing camera go out after about a year (18 month warranty). The customer service was incredible. I sent REDTIGER an email and they emailed me back within 12 hours with a few troubleshooting tips. They also told me what information they needed if those steps didn’t work so they could send me a replacement camera. A few back and forth emails later and they had a new camera in the mail heading my way. Everytime I emailed them they replied in less than a day and if a day went by without contact they emailed me to see how the troubleshooting was going. (I was taking my time testing various settings to try to get the camera to work).The camera is great and in my experience REDTIGER stands behind their product.

It's my first dash cam, I spent several days looking over several and settled for this one.The biggest thing I hate is signing back on to WiFi every time you turn off your vehicle andstarting it up again. A person has to reach the camera and either take it off the window mountor reach to the camera wherever that is. I wish it was Bluetooth and it just connected when you startthe car. I guess you can get the kit to hardwire the camera and then it wouldn't need togo through all that but that's an extra cost and a pain to install. I'm 70 yrs old and I couldn't do that anyway. The good point is that when it's up and running and your phone is connected you can see whats going on with a bigger screen than the little 1"x 1.75" screen of the camera. I think it has a good picture, I watched some of the footage and if you had to use it for the intended use it would be very nice to have. I would give it an 8 out of 10 just because of the pain it is to get the camera connected to your phone WiFi. You don't need the camera to be connected to your phone to use it but that limits the purpose of having the WiFi you can still take the card out of the phone and watch it that way.After all that being said I do like the camera and hope it will last awhile.

For someone like myself who is technology challenged I found the install of the camera and hardware easy. Adjusting the settings on the camera the first time with poor vision was a little challenging. The screen on the camera is very small and hard to see.The feature I like is the camera can be connected to your cell phone by internet and you can make adjustments on your phone. The down side of using your phone or computer is you have to connect the camera to WiFi every time you go into to make adjustments.The camera has great resolution front and rear camera. In time like everything else it’s gets easier to navigate through the camera settings.I didn’t find the written instructions very useful for the camera settings or connecting to the internet.I found plenty of good videos on YouTube that cover installation and camera settings.The camera has many features like GPS, motion control, being able to flag a particular video to name just a few.You need to have internet on your phone when you’re driving to go back to a previous video to view.I’m happy with the camera and I would purchase again.

Memory issue, programming bad...

We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can't show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can't figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it's a long up-hill battle to get the other party's insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it's serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately!Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you.Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We've owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality.
