This REDTIGER dash cam is a good unit, but you should understand two aspects that are potential problems:(1) The parking mode can run your battery down. According to several reviews, it can run your battery down in only a couple of days.(2) There is a wiring kit that is required if you want to have the parking mode. That wiring kit is a very poor kit and a waste of money. The wires are too short (72") unless you have a small compact car. The kit was more than a foot too short for my Honda Odyssey.I had high hopes of having the best technology in dash cams, but I had to settle for only the basic mode that records only when the key is "ON." The supplied device that plugs into a 12v power outlet (cigarette lighter socket) converts power to the 5v required by the dash cam. You must use that device. The wire of the supplied powering device is plenty long (more than 100"). To make a neat installation, I did not want the unit plugged into my dash-front 12v power outlet with the wires exposed. Instead, I bought and installed a hidden after-market 12v power outlet behind the dash. This REDTIGER 4K unit works well and wirelessly connects to my iPhone for settings and to download recordings, but there may be many cheaper dash cams that will work just as well in the basic mode.Unlike a lot of other electronic devices, customer service was very good.

I bought this to replace a NEXAR system that I returned. This dash cam works great. It is somewhat user friendly once you get used to it. I can use several dash cams with the app. We have 5 separate dash cams we can access through the app unlike the nexar system. With this system you basically can set it and forget it. It does take a little long to download a video to the phone once you need to share a video but it’s not terrible. Video quality is great. Very clear. A bit dark at night though. Easy to install. I used and OBD II kit to install all but one of our systems. The other on had to be hard wired. (car is too old for OBD II)

Having another brand of dashcam for several years, I decided to buy a new cam. I reviewed many different cameras on Amazon site and finally selected the Tiger with front and rear cameras. Setup was easy. The quality of picture was perfect. There are numerous setup options which took some getting used to. I contacted Tiger support several times for clarification. Support (Sherman) was very helpful, response was always prompt. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This dashcam was easy to install and has awesome video quality. I still have some issues with the clarity on the back camera when being followed by a car at night with lights on. the screen becomes flooded with light and its hard to see any defined movements. Overall its still better that some I have used in the past. I would buy it again for other vehicles for our household. Good product. GPS functions as expected and tracks speed and location well. the voice control feature works well also and the audio is clear.

I really haven't had this dash cam long enough to properly review it. When it first arrived the car charger didn't work so I was unable to get it set up. REDTIGER, however, immediately sent another one to me, which just arrived yesterday (snow in the SE!). This car charger works just fine and REDTIGER reached out to me to make sure it worked and they even sent an installation video to me. They also offered any other assistance I might need. At this point I only have the front camera installed to make sure it works properly and to learn how to use it. As soon as I am able to I will install the rear camera (not looking forward to running the cable) and then I'll update this review. From what I've seen thus far it is a very capable camera and is much easier to operate than my old one.

The REDTIGER F7N Touch Dash Cam has been an outstanding addition to my vehicle! The 4K front camera and 1080P rear camera deliver crystal-clear footage with a wide-angle view that captures everything around my car. The touch screen is responsive and easy to use, allowing quick access to all features. The built-in WiFi and GPS are incredibly convenient. I can connect to the REDTIGER app to view and share videos directly from my phone, and the GPS provides accurate location and speed data, which is a great plus. The super capacitor ensures the camera performs reliably in extreme temperatures, and the loop recording feature keeps everything up to date without manual intervention. The G-sensor and parking monitoring functions offer added security. The camera automatically protects footage if an impact is detected, which is reassuring when my car is parked. While the parking monitoring requires a separate hardwire kit, it’s well worth it for the extra protection.Overall, this dash cam is a great value with its comprehensive features, including the 64GB card and excellent customer service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for reliable and high-quality driving protection!

I didn't have issues getting the app to work. Only thing about that is the default password shows in red on the screen and is a bit hard to read. Luckily it's a simple password that can be recognized right away. If the text was white with a black outline or vice versa, that would be much better.Once the front camera is mounted, there isn't a way to rotate the camera unless you release the suction (unless I just needed to turn harder).I've had a few cameras in the past. They all seem to start up pretty fast, like almost immediately after you start your car. This takes several seconds. I imagine because it has to start up all the features since my previous ones didn't have WiFi or GPS.The suction is about the same for every camera I've tried. I don't think there's a way to really improve these unless a completely new technology is invented. It's pretty much standard, so I can't really dock points off because of that.Navigating the menu via touch screen is okay. If you decide to use the up & down arrows to avoid accidentally touch the wrong icon, it takes a bit to scroll to the next page. Nothing can be done about this either, since it's a tiny LCD screen. I'd recommend setting up wifi and using the app to configure settings. The video quality is great, although I don't know how if you'll be able to read license plates and street signs. Seems this is a struggle with dashcam tech in general.Loop Recording is 1, 3, or 5 minutes. Would be nice if there was a 10 minute option. The plastic orange push-tool they include is VERY convenient. It helps with hiding wires. I wouldn't have even thought of needing one so I'm glad this was automatically included.I wish the rear cam has a predrilled hole where the sticker covers in case you want to mount it with a screw. Every sticky piece I have fails because I live Texas which our summers last 11 months. I'm going to have to manually drill a hole. I also wonder if any pieces will get sun-dried and fade. The front camera feels solid and weighs a bit. It feels like it is quality.Final line, out of all the dashcams I have owned over the years, this has been the best out of box. Hopefully it lasts a long time. Fingers crossed.

I recently purchased the REDTIGER F7N Touch Dash Cam, and overall, I’m very impressed. Installation was incredibly easy, and the setup process was straightforward. The touch screen interface is intuitive and responsive, making it simple to adjust settings or review footage. The image quality is excellent, and it provides peace of mind while driving. The only downside I’ve found is the cigarette lighter power adapter. It’s a bit bulky and sticks out more than I’d like, which can be inconvenient in smaller cars or if you have other devices to plug in. A more compact design option would make this product perfect.Despite this minor flaw, the F7N is a fantastic dash cam and great value for the price.Highly recommended!
