Just like on your car, van, or truck, having a spare tire with your RV, trailer, or camper is an important part of being prepared. No one wants to have a flat tire or worse while one the road. Unfortunately, though, these things do happen. And if it happens, the situation could be much worse without that spare tire on hand. But where do you store that spare tire? In an RV, space is an issue, so finding a way to store a spare on the outside of the vehicle is a much better option. Most RVs don't come with a specific area for the spare, though, and so you need an addition to carry it. That's where our RV bumper folding tire carrier comes in.
Durable
The spare tire holder is made of rust-resistant and durable black powder-coated steel. With this sturdy construction, it will last you through many adventures and trips.
Installation
To mount the tire to the carrier, rest the inner section of the wheel on the rectangle section. use a bolt to secure one of the lug nut holes to the rectangle mount and use a second bolt to secure the plate to the rectangle mount, going through the center cap hole. These two bolts will secure the tire to the mount, and in extension, to your RV.

Got this to install on my travel trailer since it did not come with a spare tire holder. Easy to install. Looks like it will last a long time.

I received this part in the cheapest shipping box imaginable. Especially for something with heavy chunk of metal and loose parts inside of it.When I received it half of the hardware was missing because the box was beat up (presumably no fault of RecPro, just the handling by Fedex, but no fault of theirs because the box it was sent from China was flimsy as can be)I called RecPro customer service and the lady had another one shipped out to me which I received three days later. Well, this box looked exactly like the 1st one I received with rips and tears in it. Several nuts & washers were missing from this. I should have asked the Fedex driver to look around on the floor of his truck to see if we could find them but didn't.RecPro, if your reading this, you need to rebox this stuff your sending out. This will be the last product I get from you.

Packaging was in poor condition and parts were missing. Could be the suppliers fault or the shipping caused the issue but with that being said, I emailed the supplier and they are sending the missing parts. Other than that I think all is good

We updated and redesigned our "couple's" travel trailer. The spare tire was riding in the trailer flat in the floor when we traveled. This took up a lot of space and was heavy to move around. The bumper mount trailer spare tire holder fit perfectly on our trailer's bumper as we were able to use it in conjunction with our bike holder.
