I got this kit to help remove trim panels after seeing it done on YouTube. The inflatable air wedge helps to gently remove automotive trim panels on most modern cars. I tried this on my vehicle, and it did help, but you still need to use a trim tool to get it started.As for the emergency function, I can see this working on older cars with plenty of gap between the windows. However, most modern cars have deep, tight fitting, pockets for the side windows, making it difficult to get the air wedge in without slightly rolling the window down.All the parts in this kit appear to be of good quality, but its usefulness with modern vehicles might be minimal at best. Keep in mind that I am not a professional locksmith, so this might just be a skill shortcoming on my part.

I chose to review the, "ReadyCore's Car Tool Kit, Stainless Steel Assorted 5th Wheel Pin Puller, Long Distance Hook Tool, Pull Hook J-Hook." It was a cool find and I had to do a little research to see if this kit was actually what I thought it was! Well, it sure is! I don't know how many times I've locked my keys in the car absentmindedly and had to wait hours to get help from someone official to help me out and risk them damaging my vehicle at that with no liability! Well, not anymore! I'm going to store this in a secure location on my vehicle for just those moments when this can happen and usually when you have to be somewhere! Great tools, all functional, easy to use, made well, super easy to use. I would say that this kit is worth the money for your time alone! I think it's made well enough to keep you going for some time as well. Everyone should have one of these accessible or with a family member that can come to the rescue when you need it! This kit comes with everything you need to help open a door for locked keys. Even with newer cars these day that won't allow a car to lock with the key in the car, keys still get locked in cars. Kit comes with a decent length and adaptable rod/puller to reach any size doors. Comes with 2 air pumps. I prefer using the air bags vs wedges as they ca. Damage and scratch the doors paint. Although this comes with a wedge I try not to use it but works well. Nice bow on top is that this kit comes with a bag to store everything in so you don't lose anything.

No more bent wire hangers or sticks wedged in the doorframe - this kit is perfect for getting into a locked car when necessary! The nylon wedge helps open a crack, the airbag safely expands it, and the expandable rod can be manipulated through the gap to hit the power lock button or pull the opposite-side door handle.Alternate review: if you’re a wanna-be car thief thinking this’ll make you more successful, don’t buy this. It’s lame and automatically calls the cops when used to get into a locked car. Go home and rethink your life.

I have yet to use this lockout kit, but I can tell you it comes with the basic tools to assist the novice in times of a vehicle lockout in a handy bag to keep under a seat or in the trunk. They provide two inflator bags, grabber hook, wedge, and trim tool all in a handy bag to keep it organized. The only problem with a lockout kit is situations when it is locked inside the car you keep it in so as far as advice goes for storage, I have nothing. You may find that you help others more than you help yourself, but there is always a need for kindness in the world.

After my son locked his keys out for the second time in a week, I needed another option: calling AAA back out. This set provided me everything I needed to safely and help. Ironically, I then locked my keys out a few days after this arrived and was able to get it resolved quickly. It was a breeze to use, and I was surprised about the quality of the parts and pieces. No more using a bent hanger like I had tried with. It's a life saver and well worth the price!!
