I bought 4 of these linear slides. 3 of the 600mm and 1 of the 200mm. They are very sturdy. But there are issues that drives me crazy. First, on the 600mm rails, the motor mount use m4 screw. On the 200mm slide, the motor mount is m5. The mounting plate on 2 of the 4 are misaligned by 2mm. The tapped screws on the 200mm slide's mounting are comically misaligned. The 200mm slide had predrilled/tapped holes on both sides for the limit switch. The 600mm slide doesn't. I would basically have to make new mounting plates on 2 of 4 of the slides. Really poor attention to detail.

This is a very nicely made linear actuator. It has tight tolerances, but is not bound up or difficult to turn the ball screw. The inclusion of the proximity sensors is a nice touch and provides a way to set up the homing and limit functions. The large mounting table provides multiple mounting options for your auxilliary equipment. There are also multiple mounting holes in the base.Recommended and I would buy it again.

Mounting holes are not as drawn, and the one we got wasn't as pictured. The motor mount problem is solved with a piece of custom extrusion, which fits NEMA 23 motors perfectly. No way to mount the limit switches that come with it.

Drawing shows 10 - (8mm) thru holes on bottom plate. They measure 6.97mm-7.04mm in diameter. My transition plates were made for M8 fasteners. I either have to make a new transition plate using M6 SHCS, which would make it very loose fitting to transition plate, or I have take apart the actuator and drill out the holes to M8 size / 8mm close fit holes.

I know I could have used the design in the listing and cut all the parts out on my existing CNC but I wanted to save some time and money. And that's exactly what this item did for me. However, I still had to make a new mounting plate for the larger 100mm spindle I used(the plate that comes with the unit, will easily mount an 80mm spindle). I had to remake the NEMA 23 plate on the top because the holes didn't line up for ANY of my NEMA23 motors, one hole was clearing drilled wrong. The dimensions in the listing are close, but not completely accurately to the unit I received (more holes than drawn, drawing doesn't include the top section for the nema23, etc)If you have a mill or CNC router already, then it won't be difficult to modify the short comings of this unit. When I finish the upgrade, I'll post the CAD to this on one of those library sites where you can GRAB the CAD for your own project.
