The boot seems to be made very well and of quality materials and workmanship. The boot is made for people with foot and/or ankle injuries and from my experience with these this type boot is well crafted and does the job it's intended to. I got this because y wife has had a nagging injury to her left foot since she was very young and has always had a lot of issues with foot/ankle support and the ability to walk without fear of possibly falling and breaking her ankle. They boot has now given her the ability to walk without that fear because it supports her entire left foot and ankle. She says that it feels like her foot is surrounded by a giant pillow. It is easy just put your foot in and strap everything together and pump the air in until it's comfortable. It also works on either foot as well plus you can get it in the taller boot version as well. Overall I would definitely recommend the boot to anyone with a root or ankle injury whether it be a new injury or a nagging old injury where support for the foot/ankle is needed. As with any medical device, consult your MD or medical professional prior to use.

I rolled my ankle from jumping off 2 small flight of steps and needed an ankle support. I've used this around the house for 2 weeks and it was comfortable. It looks a bit bulky but once worn, I really is not. The rocking motion is great because it feels like you are walking normally. The pump feature is awesome if you want more support. The pads on the sides are comfortable and the sole of the boot is grippy.

I recently bought this recovery boot for my husband after he sprained his ankle, and it has made a huge difference in his recovery. The boot is sturdy and well-built, though, like most of these products, it's not the most comfortable thing to wear. It fits well with soft padding and strong Velcro straps that are easy to adjust. The sole is solid but not slippery, which offers good support. I like the built-in air pump feature because it allows the boot to fit snugly without needing to overtighten the straps. The boot is also relatively easy to put on and take off, although the air pump could be positioned better. Wearing a sock with the boot helps make it more comfortable and prevents any rubbing against the skin. All in all, I'm pleased with this purchase. It has been essential for his recovery, providing excellent support to speed up the healing process. I would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable recovery boot for a foot or ankle injury.

This BRACEAPEDIA Short Walking Support Boot with air pump helps to stabilize the foot and ankle which helps healing to take place.I ordered this boot cause I just had foot surgery. Post surgery my Dr gives me a walking boot but I need 2 since I do not wear outdoor shoes in my house. I thought this walking boot would work, but it doesn’t.If you need a boot solely for stability of foot and ankle this boot may work well for you. Unfortunately it did not suit my needs.Why?1) I did not like that the top of the inner boot has the velcro attached to it. I am used to securing the inner boot and then securing the outer boot. I removed the inner boot and it was difficult to reattach it to the outer boot. Slipping it through the side buckles was difficult and the velcro kept on attaching itself to material. It took a while for me to reattach the inner boot.2) The inner boot lining is long for my foot so there was some overhang over the outer boot. After toe/foot surgery I do not want material overhang.3) The first velcro closure closest to the toes caused a lot of pain since my surgery was only a week and a half ago, I still have stitches in, and the velcro was putting unnecessary pressure on the side of my foot, even when it was loose. It is probably not fair to BRACEAPEDIA that I am comparing this boot to a boot given to me by my Drs office (durable medical equipment that costs significantly more). I would not recommend this boot post surgery but would recommend it for anyone that has pain when walking cause stabilizing the foot and ankle can decrease pain.

Sorry. I hate to leave a review like this but I have to be honest. It was a poor fit and uncomfortable. It wouldn't stay inflated. There seemed to have not traction on the bottom. Scary thought. I couldn't see keeping these and sent them back.

The podiatrist said this was perfect for my husband’s broken foot. It’s sturdy and stable. Great value for the price. It comes with 3 small padding inserts. Very pleased with this purchase.

The sizing chart is off. The pump does nothing because all the air goes to the back where there's no support. The boot feels real sloppy even when it's tight. Also the stitching is very irritating. I've learn to accept that everything on Amazon is low quality.
