The front strap works well to accommodate a foot bandage or cast, but the necessary rear stap is ridiculously too short. Not even close. I had to make an extension made of velcro. They need to include such an extension if they expect it to work.

Durable and quality product. Offloading shoe that does it’s job and is a good value.

The shoe helped my toe heal much quicker. The Velcro strap on the echo is a little bit long and has very little grab power.I thought it was kind of not very well thought through. But so far the shoe worked. I use the shower boot with it and my toe has yielded rapidly much faster than my doctor thought.Worth every penny to me.

I bought this shoe the help heal an ulcer on the bottom of my foot. I wore the shoe for four days and had nothing but pain in ankle, knee, hip and back! I don’t think it is constructed correctly as it is taller than all of the shoes in my closet! If you can stand wearing it, the shoe might help greatly! I can’t recommend the shoe but the seller did refund my purchase price!

I got about six weeks of serious daily use out of this orthotic, plus two more out of its replacement, before my toe finally healed enough to go back to standard footwear. I'm 300+ lbs. and a size 15 shoe., so this was a serious torture test, and I feel like it passed well. No strap failures, the boot body just wore out. I'd recommend this unit.

My husband is a size 14/15 and needed off-loading post-surgical boots to keep the pressure off of the balls of both feet for three months. We ordered a total of three pairs of these over the course of the months because he was very hard on them, but they did what they were supposed to do and allowed him to be more mobile that he would have been otherwise. I'm grateful these were available for us and the quick shipping was a lifesaver.

My husband has been a type 1 diabetic for over 40 years. Every now and then he gets an ulcer on his toe which can be dangerous if not properly cared for.The first time he got an ulcer the doctor informed us that he should never put full pressure on the toe that has an ulcer on it, until it is healed. However, my husband works on his feet all day. So that seemed like an almost impossible situation. This wedge was a true blessing! It allowed him to walk, but kept the pressure on his heel not on his toe, which helped the healing process. It's not the most comfortable thing to wear, and it did through off his gait while he was wearing it, but he said it was worth the discomfort, because he knew it would help his toe heal faster.

This product should come with a warning for anybody who had back surgery or spinal fusion NOT TO USE. I worn this shoe for a 2+ months trying to heal a ulcer on the ball of my right foot and now I am almost crippled with severe sciatic nerve pain in my back. To make matters worse my back surgeon thinks this shoe could have cause the low back spinal fusion equipment to fail due to walking with dangerous medical devise. I am 100% disabled right now and could be possibly be 100% disabled for life. I have not been able to return to work and am taking maxim doses of Norco and Flexeral daily control the pain. If you have had back surgery or serious back issues DO NOT USE THIS DANGEROUS MEDICAL DEVICE . With some bad luck I could be a paraplegic if the pain and the weakness in my legs from using this Dangerous Medical Device gets worse. Avoid this shoe or at best use it for very short term and if your not getting wound healing , discontinue use of this shoe immediately. The risk of sciatic never attack is real and the pain is horrible much much worse than the back pain I had that lead to first back surgery .
