This is the fault for being a great product!The fit is perfect for me. It is slightly bigger than my foot, this way when someone else bumps into me, they tough the shoe and not my foot.It is comfortable. Well as comfortable a medical shoe can be to help mend a broken foot (5th metatarsal fracture).The bottom two straps are "adjustable". you can cut them shorter so they don't drag on the floor.The velcro connections are very adjustable.Now my only issue. The top strap when closed and overlapped, doesn't stay overlapped. Seems like one little extra piece of velcro closing would make this product perfect!So bottom line: love this. Since they set my expectations so high, I would just want it completely perfect.

I had a big toe injury several months ago and had to have the nail removed. I bought this shoe shortly after when the shoe the hospital sent me home with was horrible. At the time this was a godsend - and helped about a month later when I had to travel for work.Fast forward 8 months later, when a podiatrist had to do a "minor" procedure as a result of the previous injury (and I had severe pain in my big toe) just 2 days before I was to board a flight for a long weekend in Vegas. (You can't go to Vegas without walking or being in a wheelchair - which was not an option!)This shoe was so comfortable. While I might not have been my normal self with my normal stride, this shoe fit was light and kept my toe safe (and all my toes aligned). The shoe had a great grip, was not slippery, and really felt like a shoe. I bought an extra one in case I needed it, but the Velcro really held up to the almost 8 miles a day I did!

I’ve been in the medical field for over 30 years. I’m very familiar with orthopedic shoes. This is the best that I’ve come across, It’s shaped perfectly for walking and it’s wide, so it keeps all of your toes protected. I ordered this for My brother who is an uncontrolled, Noncompliant diabetic with severe toe And foot, cellulitis w/ulcers. This Shoe Has been a godsend! My brother resists everything, and he actually loves this shoe, how comfortable, lightweight, and easy to put on & off. It’s super easy to clean too!! Because of the wide toe Design all of his severely affected toes are protected and allowed to breathe and healing has actually significantly improved. I recommend this orthopedic shoe to anybody who wants something comfortable truly designed for walking and will promote the greatest protection for healing.!!

This brace is a huge relief for fractured toes! In my situation, the injury is to the 4 smaller toes, middle of the little toe, middle of the toe next to the big toe, and base of the 3 middle toes. I'm able to get my foot into a loose shoe or walk/hobble barefoot but it's very uncomfortable, causes additional swelling to my foot and puts undue strain on other parts of my body. I've got a lot of swelling beneath my toes so it feels like I'm walking on a bunched-up sock. I have a boot from a previous injury to these same toes. The boot does help but it's heavy and clunky and puts pressure on the top of my toes which adds to the nerve irritation. I ordered this brace which was delivered the next day to my house and provided immediate relief to my foot. It's lightweight so there is no pressure at the top of the foot. It's not at all clunky. The bottom of the sole is configured to put the pressure more into the middle of the foot when stepping and rocks as you step so as not to bend the toes. I'm now able to walk with a more normal gait so other parts of my body are also feeling relief. The sole height is a close match to the shoes I normally wear which is an added bonus (the boot is much higher). My foot is a normal size 6. The photos show the brace next to a size 6 Merrell Women's Encore Ice 4 shoe, one with a lightweight sock and one with a heavy sock. My only complaint with this brace is that the bottom sole is molded out of hard plastic. It does have grips and doesn't appear slippery, but I would prefer a more absorbent rubber sole. Aside from that, I highly recommend this. Yesterday was the first day that I wore it all day and it relieved the pain enough that I was able to get a good night's sleep. Well worth it!

Doc said I needed to keep my foot flat for a month. That was a tall order for someone who is not naturally sedentary. The toe splint made my shoes too tight and my crocks didn't keep my foot flat. I needed help so searched for a therapeutic shoe that would let my foot heal. This wasn't the cheapest but I certainly would buy it again. It is stiff but has a rocker sole that makes it easier to walk than a flat sole. Treads on the bottom provide good traction. It is so soft and very comfortable. I wear it all day and my foot does not get sore or rub blisters. Three straps adjust to ensure the perfect fit barefoot or with socks. The straps are long enough they would support large wrappings or a cast. However, the strap design allows the ends to be tucked under so they don't drag if they are longer than needed (or you can just cut them off). The toe is squared so it can be worn on either foot. The sizing guidelines were accurate. I wear a size 7 shoe and purchased a medium women's. It it just right, with a little extension past my toes to protect them from bumping things. The thickness of the sole matches most of my other shoes so I don't feel off balance when walking. After wearing this shoe for 2 weeks, I have no complaints. Good thing since I have to wear it for a month! Well worth every penny!
