This shoe works well for lymphedema wrapped feet. I wear a women's 9.5 but to allow for the extra bulk I got the men's size XL.

Not what I expected - not nearly as firm and supportive as other Darco shoes I've needed to use over the years. Found myself constantly having to remove and replace it to keep my foot firmly in it. It does not have the typical strap that loops through a plastic buckle and velcros to itself; rather the strap goes across the foot and attaches to a separate strip of Velcro on the other side. Obviously there are situations where the softer shoe and closures would be needed, but I'm going to have to find something else.Also noticeably smaller the other Darco shoes with the same stated size.

Had surgery to my toe and wanted an open toe shoe to protect my foot. I wear size 9 woman shoe and ordered a large for men worried that a women’s large would not be big enough. It’s a bit too wide at the heal so might have been better to order the large for women but the sole is very comfortable.

I bought a pair for my dad. His legs have been swelling. I invited him to lunch but he declined because he couldn't get his shoes on. I got these and the very next day we went out to lunch. The nice thing about taking him out to lunch was I could watch his salt intake which was the cause of the swelling. He finds them comfortable and offer good traction.

I have diabetes 2 and I was seeking an easy to put on and off medical type shoe. I purchased this (Darco Softie surgical shoe: Men’s large from Marble medical supply) model when I saw it on Amazon. My only complaint was that I thought it would come as a pair, but that is my fault for not investigating exactly what I was sending for in a soft type of shoe.I found this surgical shoe to be fairly comfortable even though my toes hung over a little bit and the shoe was a little short for my big size 13 feet; nevertheless, I am satisfied with this product and recommend it for anyone with problems with their feet and need a surgical shoe.Rating: 4 Stars.
