Aesthetically pleasing and works just fine as a "ducted" exhaust fan, but skip the idea that it's "ductless."To attempt using this thing "ductlessly" is to believe sucking air through a small rattling plastic cage full of tiny loose charcoal pellets will solve your venting needs ... as it ferociously blows the "filtered" (hahahahaha) air into your ceiling joist cavity.

Love the very sleek and streamlined design of this range hood. Recessed into our existing area. Lights are perfect and they dim! Fan is powerful and I don’t think it’s too loud. It has an auto off feature. My husband is a carpenter so he was able to fit the unit up inside our existing area. Very happy with this product so far!

I purchased this exhaust vent over 3 years ago.Couldn't figure out why it wasn't working correctly. Long kitchen renovation, with tons of problems and I finally contacted the company. Should of done this a long time ago.The company stands for there product. Responded immediately and will send me a new one.Very satisfied!

Installed a few weeks ago. Working well. Plenty of power from exhaust fan. Only thing I would like to see improved is better control of light dimming feature. You have to hold the button to dim the light, holding the button in one nano second too late and the light shuts off and you have to try it again. Overall a very good product!

If I had one complaint, it's hard to read the display at eye level. I have to either look from the side or stoop to see it. Other than that I've been using this hood for over a year now and happy with my decision overall. It vents enough cfm I can sear a steak under it and not set off the smoke alarm. I like the vent design as it copies from restaurant setups. Very easy to clean, the grates pop in and out with the drip tray in the back. Every thing is stainless steel. It vibrates and is as loud as any other hood I've used but noticeably quiet of the first setting.

Once the installation was completed (there was a vibration issue that was resolved thanks to excellent customer service and communication), the unit performed very well. It may be a little louder at higher speeds than expected, but it is within the specifications of the unit. We vented the unit to the outside and hid the ductwork behind crown molding on top of the cabinets (6" ductwork) and it removes almost all odors and moisture from our cooktop which is exactly what we had hoped for.
