The material arrived with a protective coating on both sides and 4 pre-drilled holes.The dual-sided finish is great as it gives you visual options when installing.It seems expensive but I just paid $10.99 for a 5-lb bag of rice, so all things being relative...

Perfect for catching grease and food splatters while cooking. It's easy to clean and adds a clean, sleek and elegant finish look to my kitchen. Mounting the backlash to the wall was quick and simple. Product came with scratches and was 23.5x27.5, not 24x30. The scratches were livable but we need it to be 30 inches wide, so we exchanged it for a replacement. Hopefully the replacement is the correct size.

For some reason, our landlord had our whole kitchen in flat paint & it is horrible! You can't really wipe flat paint if something splashes up on it so I was ecstatic to come across this when looking at adhesive tile pieces! It came with the hardware to hang it up & best of all.... it wipes down so easily & takes only a few seconds! I love ANYTHING that saves me time cleaning my house! It's a winner in my book!

This stainless steel sheet appears to be pretty standard as stove backsplash material goes. The fit and finish are excellent, creating an attractive addition to nearly any kitchen decor. The thickness is adequate creating a strong (but not inflexible) backsplash. It is thick enough steel that it had to be shipped flat not rolled. It does flex rather than being absolutely rigid, but for non-commercial use I doubt the flex would cause problems functionally or aesthetically. Normally on a relatively flat wall this sheet should sit perfectly flat.On an uneven wall (sometimes old plaster is uneven) this backsplash is probably fine, but it's not absolutely stiff so it's possible the unevenness of a really bad wall *might* project onto the surface of the backsplash. Generally if this happens, typically if the walls are very uneven, furring strips or other spacers can remedy it.The function of stainless steel is top notch as a material that cannot burn and that cleans up easily. Even nasty burned-on smoke and grease can be attacked aggressively with cleaners and scrubbing pads without doing lasting damage to stainless steel. It also won't rust.This is a great product well worth the less than forty dollar price tag (at time ordered). I do find the 4 screws provided to be undersized and recommend substituting larger ss screws.This product arrived well-protected in a tough cardboard sleeve with protective film applied to both sides. The film can continue to protect from scratches from tools while doing the installation.I have no complaints about this product. Fully recommended.
