First pic shows the starter mounted. Clearly the holes in the housing are incorrectly drilled leaving the entire starter and drive too far from flexplate. Second pic shows the drive fully energized, only mating 1/2 of flexplate gear. Third pic shows the starter gear NOT returning to detent position. Poorly made starter mounting flange...

It is absolute garbage I doubt there all this bad but I gotta say I'm not impressed at all first off I got it and the smaller terminal for the key wire was loose but I couldn't tighten it so I let that ride figured it prolly happend during shipping but it worked pretty good for a couple weeks then the mounting block came lose and so i tightened them and loctite but it happend again and again and now it wont even throw out and contact the flywheel

This is the second one I’ve had first one the solenoid died (which isn’t replaceable) bought this one and the two screws in the picture came loose and destroyed the flex plate. Not pleased

I'm giving you 5 stars in hopes you will help. I finally got to installing the starter and half way to the torque spec the starter bolt snapped in half

I needed a smaller starter to clear my exhaust on my YJ SBC swap. This little guy worked out perfect, I do not like how the studs for your leads are exposed to the elements so I just slathered them with RTV. The instructions and shims are fine I did have to clearance one of my shims because the corner did not fit so I just eyeballed it and trimmed some off. works like a champ super easy install.
