Purchased this over the winter as I was purchasing product for a new engine build. Installed this two days ago and the starter will not record far enough back from the flywheel regardless of shims. I’m past my return window due to purchasing well before installation date.. would not recommend.

Lasted 1 month and quit working. Just long enough to get out of warranty. The seller is great just the part is not.

when the product arrived the chrome finish was damaged and the mounting plate needed to be modified to fit around the headers.After getting it mounted and the finish sealed up the product its self functioned great and continues to work well.

Product made in Taiwan. One of the small bolts that holds the selenoid to the housing was not down all the way and upon inspection the bolt was bottomed out, so I have to go to Home Depot and find a shorter chrome one to fit properly. Obviously no quality control at the factory before product is shipped. Otherwise product seems to look ok, but I have not tried it to start the car yet. If I were to purchase again, I would probably try to buy a product made in the USA even though the cost would double. The bolts that came with the starter were not chrome plated.
