Works like it says, might need to adjust time depending on microwave power!

I bought this for my elderly father who lives by himself so he can start making scrambled eggs in the morning. He absolutely loves it. It’s perfect for one or two eggs. It can hold up to four.

UPDATE - I have to revise the rating. Cooks the eggs great. HOWEVER, the silicone ring is ALWAYS coming off and is inside the jar when the eggs are cooking or it will come off when the top is taken off. If you buy this, just know what you are getting. This is a good product. 3 eggs in 3 minutes, even though I have yet to figure out the cheese ratio. The heat shield could be a little thicker. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the silicon ring on the lid, it keeps coming off and is a bear to put back on.

I like to make homemade breakfast sandwiches on English muffins. An egg cooked in this crock is just the right size for my sandwiches. I put one egg in, add salt, pepper, and a little heavy whipping cream. Then mix well. They are fluffy and taste very good. It cleans up very easily. My only quarrel with this crock is that it is quite hot to touch when you first get it out of the microwave. Overall, I’m very pleased with this crock.

I’ve made eggs in a microwave safe bowl with a saucer placed over the top of the bowl for years which is essentially the same concept as this $30 replacement.I bought this hoping it would expedite the process as with the bowl and saucer method, usually it takes some time management, stirring and again watching it cook as the eggs will expand while cooking, lifting the saucer, etc.I thought this, designed with the hole in the top to allow steam to escape would keep that from happening and bingo bango in a minute to minute and a half you would have perfect eggs. Not so.The first time using it, this morning, I hear a clang from the microwave only to find the lid popped off and egg running down the side of the egg cooker with runny eggs still in the bottom.Does it work? Yes. Does it work any better than a microwaveable bowl and saucer? No.In fact it’s a bit worse because you have to clean the lid (obviously), but those silicone gaskets (yes there’s two of them) around the lid flange both have to be pulled off and cleaned by hand and then an act of god to get them back on.Again, save your $30 bucks. It’s not a quick fix.

I love this thing! You can make regular eggs or you can add stuff and make it an omelette! The eggs come out fluffy. 1 egg is done in 1.5 minutes! It’s so easy to use and great for a quick breakfast! For easier cleaning I would spray with non stick spray before putting your egg(s) in!

I got this cooker mainly for travel use because most hotels have microwaves and the breakfast they offer is usually not very good. I tested it at home first and it works surprisingly well. The only negative that there are no cooking times included with the instructions. I did some research and found most people recommend cooking times of 30 seconds per egg. I put 3 eggs inside and shook it several times. I put it in the microwave for 90 seconds and the eggs came out perfectly.I didn't intend to use it at home but after seeing how easy and convenient it was when traveling I have been using it at home too. It's quick and easy and I just eat the eggs directly out of the cooker. I like that clean up is just the cooker and a fork.

Just be careful not to touch the outside, use something to grab the product out of the microwave, it will be hot. Not for children to use. I thought of that while I was using it. The lid will not stay on, don't assume it will, it will slip off, hang on to it when you lift out of microwave. Probably gloves to hold, one on lid. It is all ceramic and great, no sticky mess to clean up after the egg is cooked, scrambled or throw the egg in whole. Poke a hole in the egg yolk and cook, you'll need to check on it to make sure it doesn't pop the lid off. Cook in intervals, of like 2 minutes so you will get texture you want. Use cooking oil to spread around the inside, just use a cooking brush(simple), no spray cooking oil, it will destroy the inside. I like it!
