Was previously using corning ware bowl, this works so much better. No splatter in microwave, eggs come right out and easy cleaning.

I love my own cooking even though I am almost 80. After I broke my foot last Fall I have been using my Microwave more often. I can easily follow the directions that comes with this microwave egg cooker, but I can do more than what the manufacture suggests. In addition to soft boiling an egg for breakfast, I have been able to scramble two eggs together , then microwave them together. I serve them with sliced avocado on top. Now I can enjoy the same breakfast I use to make in my large cast iron WOK. As I told my friends at the assisted living facility -" Don't think about what you can't do, think about what you can do". I enjoy the challenge of switching to microwave cooking. In addition I save electricity and cooking time.
