Because of the wild hog's strong pack Instinct and its curious Nature, they will often investigate the sounds of other Hogs. Features: - flexible hose for variable tones - reproduces the grunting sounds of boars and sows - appeals to the pack Instinct of a hog - Extra loud for long range or softer when they're close.

Amazon packaged this poorly. It was coming out of the manufacturers package when arrived. It is a gift and it is going to look crappy because we can not get it to look correct in original packaging. We have a lot of primos calls and enjoy them all. Recommend Primos company. Packaged better Amazon.

After a trip out it now won't make a sound, the reed bends out from just blowing into it so it won't work. Have to bend it back every time I use it

Does what it says and brings in the hogs. A little practice goes a long way. Would recommend.

I read where others say it sounds like a duck, that’s because they don’t know how to use it. If you blow to hard it does sound like a duck but if you blow easy and in short breaths it sounds exactly like a pig. I know what a pig sounds like I lived around pig farms. Would buy again and recommend this item except don’t let it get in the hands of your grandson he’ll drive you nuts.

I used this just to test it and now my whole property is overrun with hogs. They have set up shop in my yard, have dug up all the flower beds and are already reproducing multiple litters. I am trying to find a wolf or bear caller to scare these creatures away. I am afraid to leave the house because they will no doubt come in and make themselves at home. It is obviously a terrific product and works as it is supposed to, but now I have a hog problem that won't go away.

My buddie traps hogs and has 3 in this big ace horse trailer and I wanted to see their reaction when I made the call. I went up away from down wind so they couldn't smell me and I made the call bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bur-bu-bur-bu-bur and so on. All the pigs in the horse trailer got real excited and started making grunting sounds themselfs. I'm going on a hunt in two weeks I'm confident it will work good and I'll update this review. If you make a big cup with both your hands on the end it sound like a big pig with big slow steady breaths. Fast lil breaths with one hand cupped over the end sounds like a lil piggy.

Pretty good call. Limited in tonal range. Sounds best at low volumes. It would be better if you could adjust it for higher/lower tones.
