The good aspect of these rattlers is that it comes with two of them, so for what you are spending you are getting two. Unfortunately, it sounds like exactly what it is, which is different sized wooden dowel rods in a bag. Don't get me wrong, they make a rattle sort of like deer antlers, but it isn't exactly right in my opinion. I have used some rattle bags that sound better and are in a more compact bag, this bag is a little bulky but still fit in my hunting backpack without taking up too much room.

Buying this seemed like less work than cutting my own dowels plus mesh bag to store. I think a single pack for half the cost would have been a better pick. Seems pricey compared to similar options. It does make the cracking noise like antlers crashing together. The bag has a stretchy elastic to keep from rattling when not trying to call bucks. Decent product but too expensive for me to buy again.
