It covers the peephole on my door which does take a few minutes especially if someone painted the peephole to the door

Super flimsy metal and fragile. Didn't fit my door and I do not want to disassemble it to get this junk to not even work well. Returned, a piece of tape is cheaper and looks better.

I would have given 5 stars had the material and construction been of a slightly better quality. The price point though (under $4) makes it worth the money.I have a seriously creepy neighbor who likes to peek into door viewers. I thought of all the different ways to cover my door viewer while still making it easy to use for less than $5. I found this dandy little piece of metal and it works perfect.I was able to unscrew my door viewer from the outside with no tools and, using a flat screwdriver, gentle coax out the inside piece. I slipped this little device over my inside piece, put it back into the door, screwed the outside piece back into place, and perfection! No more creepy neighbor eyeballs looking into my door viewer. I am able to slide the cover over silently to see who is at my door when needed. I am very pleased with this little device. Just realize this is a very thin, and I really do mean, very thin, piece of metal. I have faith it will hold up as needed since it is not an object of heavy use. Shipping was incredibly fast. Buy it if you need it!

First off - this should be 50 cents tops, not 4 bucks. I was expecting a little bit better quality for the price.Got this for two reasons.... First I realized that you can totally see if there's a light on - or not - inside our house when you're standing outside our front door at night. And second, at the risk of sounding paranoid, to prevent reverse peephole viewing. You might need a wrench or pliers to get your peephole started unscrewing but once you do, things go pretty smoothly.I like how this cover is barely larger than the hole itself and just looks really unobtrusive. The swivel still feels very cheaply done and you kinda have to fight it a little to get it to swing so if I get more than 20 or 30 uses out of it before the cover snaps off I'll be surprised. Hopefully I won't have to use it that often. Lolll. I included a couple of pictures of the packaging too so maybe you can comparison shop and find it for less somewhere local that won't have the shipping built into the price.
