If you experience any issues with the product, don't worry. Here are some solutions:
1.If you're unable to record video, ensure that you've set it up in the app. Please note that you can only choose between recording video and taking screenshots.
2. After receiving the product, plug in the connecting cable, no image after powering on, please check whether the connecting cable is in the right direction, or try to re-install the connecting cable with the main screen. (It takes a few seconds to wake up the screen for the first time)
3. this product can only connect to router 2.4GHz wlan, not to 5GHz waln. if you have problems connecting, please check if your network meets this requirement.
4.If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.
TiP:
- Upon receipt of the product, you will find a protective film on the panel of the indoor unit. There may be slight scratches during transport, which may be unpredictable. However, it is a brand new panel, which will not affect normal use. Don't worry.
- Upon receipt of the product, it is best to fully charge the battery before using it. The time to charge depends on the type of charging head you use. It is recommended not to use a fast-charging charger, which will consume the battery.Typically, a 5v2a charger takes 5-6 hours to charge and a 5v1a charger takes 7 hours to charge. (Assuming there is no electricity at all, it takes about an hour to charge the power supply and turn on the system).

Easy to install and great picture when it gets connected. The app is a bit janky, but for what you pay it can't be beat. It's much nicer than the old ring system we had because it isn't something you'd clunky box on the door. Great value! Charging is a bit hard, just to open the back I feel like I'm going to break something, but the charge lasts a long time.

Camera is Easily installed where the peephole goes . Image quality is good. Although your voice that comes out of the camera is not good at all . When you try and talk to the mail man .They can not understand anything you say . There is a 4 second delay on video .

To add this camera in the app, use the left hand menu, not the long page of device icons, it is not in the device icons. This camera on low motion runs over a month and up to 2 months on a charge. Charges on the inside with a long USB cord, or the unit can be removed to charge it with the cam wire disconnected. This works anywhere, over wifi or cellular, notifications are within 1 second. The initial. volume is maximum, so you might want it under a pillow to link to the phone. Link before installing it, as the phone displays a QR code to the camera which contains your wifi login, and that's how it is programmed. It works on multiple phones at once, and a change on one phone, like adding a device, appears on the other phone as well. The picture is crisp and has a small time stamp as well as a cellphone style battery indicator. This installs where the peep hole would go, in a 3/8 hole through the door. This unit comes with an SD card, installed under the indoor screen so the footage can't be stolen. I've done security for years including. banks, jails, police stations etc and I am. really impressed by how well this cam functions. The only think I would improve is the latency time between motion detection and the camera turning on (its far less than a 1/2 second but someone running fast might not be seen from the front . I suppose that is typical response time. Great product, worth the money. If you already have a glass viewer in a home or apartment, this camera is a perfect fit. The outside does have a dim red LED, I covered this with a 4mm circle of black tape. Just get it, but remember my setup advice.. left menu to find Smart Doorbell, not the first icons, and have the thing inside and under a pillow. The device volume can be adjusted once the phone sees the camera. Motion and or infrared can be turned on and off outside volume has its own setting.

The video on this device is perfectly clear unlike some other brands that were very blurry and hard to decipher. This camera quality is great… it was easy to install and hook up to my phone.

It took me a long time to install this on my door. Then, I had to link the Tuya Smart software to the device. It was a struggle. Finally I got it working but I have no idea how I did it. Keep trying this and that, one of them worked out. OK... so it worked. Battery lasted a good long time. But when I try to recharge, apparently I touched something. It reset itself. The charging slot was so small, it was a struggle to insert the plug to do it, and it is so easy to touch thing while doing it. That reset the device and I can not get back up. So I had to take this out and trash the whole thing. I replaced it with $9.00 dumb peephole viewer.I highly advise not to buy this junk.

Connecting to the app is a cr@pshoot, securing it on the mounting bracket is the next challenge and the sound quality is nonexistent. The video quality was pretty good. However, I say all of this in past tense because it didn’t last a year.
