This is a top, center mounted, adjustable, tandem roller assembly. The 7/8 inch round edged or convex nylon rollers are attached to a stamped steel tandem housing and sits offset on top of a 5/16 inch threaded steel rod. The unique positioning of the rollers allow one roller to ride in one track while the other rides in the opposite track. Used on Acme series 2600, 1-3/8 inch thick closet. The horizontal roller located on the threaded rod can be adjusted up or down 5/8 inch by design and provides guidance as the roller assembly passes between the 2 opposite J-tracks.

I am returning this hot garbage. This product deserves less than zero stars. These were to replace some older hardware on an accordian door for a closet laundry. I was so excited to finally find the right product. Unfortunately, nothing about this product is right.*The shaft is designed wrong:- shaft should go down into the door, not up away from it. (I should've noticed the picture, so that's partly on me.)- Shaft does not actually adjust more than a few mm, which is odd, given it is such a long bolt. There is a stop in the shaft- on purpose. I bought 2 of these and checked both (another reviewer saw the same issue. The one I tried actually got stuck because of the stop. I had to damage it to get it apart again.*Packaging is wrong. The outer packaging is for sliding doors, not accordian doors.*Instructions are wrong. On the same page, the instructions for a sliding door, complete with pics, are printed. At the bottom of the same page, the proper product is shown, no instructions provided for it. No, they do not work at all the same way. Oddly enough, the other side of the sheet has a label and picture for the correct product.

The picture of the item shows the threaded rod going into the base opposite from the screw hole end. usually a hole is drilled in the top of the door and the base is inserted into the hole and the threaded part is screwed down into it making the height adjustable. Even the instructions that come with it say to do it this way. However the threads inside the base are purposely damaged right at the end so if you screw the rod in as shown it will only go as far as the end of the base. If you insert the base into a hole in the top of the door and try and screw the rod in that way, it won't go in at all or very little. It makes no sense for the threads to be damaged like this, it just limits the amount of height adjustment. There is an indentation on the outside of the bottom of the base which corresponds to the damaged thread on the inside.

I bought the part as spare for some closet folding door.Product is similar to the ones installed, and by the way system works pretty well with large folding door with tile floor.
