As usual, my use for something like this is out of the ordinary. I used this flange to make a fresh air intake for my Chinese Diesel heater. My heater is mounted in a plastic bin (to make it weatherproof) and secured to the outside of my Jeep. I needed to make all the inputs and outputs dust proof so using a simple grill wouldn't work. This flange was perfect. I added a dust cap that I remove when the heater is running and the long "snout" design also keeps rain out. Super happy.

I initially got this for venting an indoor airbrush spray booth. Fits 4" vent hose fine, and mounts easy, but the flange doesn't fit a 4" / 120mm fan (too small, and holes don't match). I used it for the other end of the hose rather than a metal collar from home improvement store. If you want to mount hose to a 120mm fan, use this 4 inch fan duct: https://smile.amazon.com/BITMAIN-Antminer-120mm-High-Temp/dp/B07DGRBK98/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_2_0_6/145-5514691-1577067?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07DGRBK98&pd_rd_r=cdc49cb2-0ebb-4f08-a45f-4077e32a5514&pd_rd_w=ESiyR&pd_rd_wg=DLnwI&pf_rd_p=eedb2e0a-dc98-41ea-a87a-c2ba640d1762&pf_rd_r=N9VRXQDP05D5R8N51VP4&psc=1&refRID=N9VRXQDP05D5R8N51VP4

I made a small portable sandblasting cabinet for models and other small application work, paired with an airbrush style sandblaster (paasche arc-k) and these work rather well to be the openings where I insert my arms into the cabinet, they seal well on my forearms, but one could easily glue long gloves to keep the fine media from being lost if it does not seal well on their arms. Even shooting into a bucket/tote, I still would lose a notable amount of blasting media, so making a small enclosed cabinet has helped.

Worked very well on the top of an equipment rack in a closet application. Used 3M permanent strips to hold them down (didn't want to drill holes in this instance). Used it to transition to dryer duct to direct airflow from the fans through the wall into a return plenum. Solid and well built.
