Introducing the 4” to 2-1/2” Cone Reducer and 4-Inch Dust Control Flex Cuff with Hose Clamps by POWERTEC.
The cone reducer is designed to provide you with a simple solution to coupling your 4-inch ID dust hoses with 2-1/2 ID dust hoses. Specifically, it allows you to step down from a larger main line to a smaller branch line without compromising air velocity or the effectiveness of your dust collection system.
The flex cuff is designed to provide you with an airtight connection between a pair of 4” dust collection fittings or hoses. And it comes equipped with standard hose clamps so that you won’t need unattractive duct tape or a messy assortment of screws. It’s a highly useful (and reusable) dust collection system accessory, as it allows you to interchange fittings and connect adapters to keep all of your dust collection tools connected.

I bought this because the details had a diagram of the part with exact dimensions. I could be sure of a great fit. This is so very helpful, and I will continue to look for diagrams with relevant dimensions spelled out for future purchases. Does the job for my dust collector

Not much to this, but it works for what it is. I just use a shop vac with a bucket and cyclone for dust collection on my planer, but the planers dust hood is designed for a full dust collection system. This reducer attached easily and securely to the dust hood and fits the vacuum hose perfectly.

The rubber fitting fits perfect on my 4” dust port on my Laguna 14BX. Buying this combo was much cheaper than buying the pieces separately. My shop vac hose fits tightly inside the adaptor.
