In the past I’ve gone about making my own agar plates, usually with a recipe I got online… But this stuff makes lab quality agar a cinch!The 500 g bottle is definitely more my speed, and it yields plenty of plates for my amateur mycology. It mixes very well, and the mycelium grows so much faster than with my homemade brew!Definitely recommend checking this stuff out if you’ve had any issues in the past with your agar being subpar!
