running 10 plates of agar so far none broke when coming in and seems to not let contam in its been 1 week so only problem is lid is flush with bottom makes it very hard to do proper work bc you need to grab and lift it awkwardly especially if its the bottom one and your wearing gloves almost spilled a whole dish when pouring but they are doing the job so far so I cant complain deff getting different dishes next time tho

Thick borosilicate glass with extra room. They came packaged well. Good price for this quality. They withstand a pressure cooker @ 15psi for 30 minutes or the oven @ 350°F for 30 minutes. I've had best results with no pour methods because otherwise the condensation kills me. I recommend putting them in oven bags to pressure cook them no pour.

These dishes are of good quality and I'm sure they will last quite a while given the proper care. One of my lids was broken upon arrival, and the seller promptly issued an appropriate refund. Can't ask for more.

These Petri dishes are fantastic! Unfortunately, 2 of mine broke in transit or had chips but the seller responded exceptionally fast and refunded the value for the damaged portion within hours of contacting them. I am one very satisfied customer. Thank you!

These arrived today on time. 19 full dishes undamaged. One broken top. Although i am pleased with this deal and the dishes appear as good quality, i fell they should be packaged and buffered better

Of the 20 petri dishes, only 13 complete dishes were not broken. 7 of the tops and 2 of the bottoms were shattered. This was due to the very poor factory packaging. The tops are wrapped in very thin paper, the bottoms not at all. The dishes are then just stacked together in two rows in a very thin cardboard box.BTW, the box was wrapped in bubble wrap and the Amazon box and the box showed no external signs of damage, so shipping abuse was not likely the cause of the breakage.Value for money is good if you receive all 20 of them in good condition, but as it stands I had to dock a few stars.

One broke on arrival the others made it through the first pressure cooking session and through their first culture.I'd imagined them a little thicker but they work.I had hoped that the seller would offer a replacement but that hasn't happened yet.So far I've ordered this twice and each time one was broke.They have given a partial refund for them that I consider adequate to compensate me.The inside package could easily be taped down to prevent knocking around in there and this would fix it.Over all these are good dishes and I will happily order them again.

Poor fitting top to bottom. 3 of mine came shattered. Shipping box was perfectly fine.

good amount for the price, none came broken, and had an extra. They dont have any ports for air exchange so keep in that in mind. if doing fungi cut groves for air exchange with a diamond file, found one on here "Atoplee 10pcs Titanium Coated Mini Diamond Needle File"for less than $10. make sure to file wet or under water to prevent breakage and inhaling glass dust. unless you wanna die.
