Al principio dudé en comprar piezas sueltas de material estéril, sin embargo, la calidad de las cajas de Petri superó mis expectativas. Para comenzar el pedido llego muy rápido y al ser material estéril llegó con doble caja la primera de amazon y la segunda de la empresa en la cuál se encontraban los paquetes debidamente sellados de cajas de Petri. Al probarlas en mi laboratorio me di cuenta que estaban totalmente estériles y mis experimentos para el PhD salieron excelentes.Como ventajas puedo mencionar que las cajas de Petri de está medida son difíciles de encontrar incluso con proveedores reconocidos y después de batallar para encontrarlas las encontré en Amazon. Además el costo es mucho más accesible que con los proveedores de consumibles. En cuanto a desventajas no encuentro ninguna, simplemente se las recomiendo Les muestro una foto de mis experimentos para que comprueben que las cajas de Petri realmente se encuentran libres de contaminación biológica y sus cultivos microbianos crecerán preciosos.

my package came with one lid broken, which was annoying but not enough to go through the extent of returning anything. that and i needed them for a halloween party a few days after they delivered so i didn’t really have a choice. i read lots of other reviews about broken pieces, so expect at least one to be broken. other than that - size is great, the lids all fit great and seal well, and they stack neatly on top of each other. pretty good overall, i’m just annoyed one was broken.

Nice big petri dishes, feels much bigger in hand.Double packaged! very nice. Contamination free is key for Petri Dishes, and the double package make it feel much safer to use.Solid quality.

They are smaller than I expected but they will still work. I plan to use them in my middle school classroom.

This is a set of 20 small petri dishes. The dishes measure 60 mm in diameter and are 15 mm tall. They are made of clear polystyrene. The vents consist of 3 very small ridges on the insides of the lids that hold the lids every so slightly above the bottoms. The dishes arrive sterilized in 2 packages of 10 dishes, lids on. They were made in China.I find these dishes perfect for collecting and photographing insects. They have flat tops and bottoms, good for viewing. The polysterene is quite clear, at least when new. They challenge is to keep the top and bottom from getting scratched up. I really like this small size since the dishes are easy to carry in my pocket. I also like that the dishes are made of plastic, so I don’t have to worry about shattered glass in my pocket. The vents are small enough to contain all but the very smallest of arthropods (such as tick nymphs). Overall, these are great small petri dishes for a variety of home and school science or storage uses.

These Petri dishes are the usual size, which I really like. I also like that the price is very reasonable: at the time if review they are $12.99 for 20 dishes.They fit together well without being too tight.We are using them for high school chemistry lab and they work well for that.When they arrived in the mail, they were well packaged with bubble wrap so they are all intact and ready to use.Overall, I’m very impressed with these and recommend them!
