Does not solidify. Has a paper label taped on top of the bottle. Agar won't solidify even with twice the amount of media. NO RETURN ACCEPTED. First time this has happened to me with amazon. Absolute FRAUD. $33 scam.

Paid a premium for 100g of PDA, but only received 95g of PDA. The amount in the bottle appeared short so I immediately got a weigh boat, zeroed it out, and weighed all of the powder in the bottle. Do not recommend this supplier at all.

Had been reading good things about using potato dextrose agar powder for cultivating special mushrooms. Especially those used for making a certain "tea" that makes lights and music and much more enjoyable in a dark room. Getting good results so far. Can't really compare it to competing brands, because this is the only kind I've used so far. But the quality is obviously good, based on the results and the ultimate yield.

I ordered this bottle of PDA to learn how to grow mushrooms and for science experiments with our second grader. Quality seems good, but I'm just a beginner. We're going to look at mold and fungus under a microscope.

This potato, dextrose egg or powder is an excellent grade product. It's very simple to mix and pour this egg art into your pizza. Dit's and much more cost-effective. Then getting pre mixed agar. It seems to be rich and nutrients as my samples begin to germinate after three days. This is a great product and I do recommend it..

Tried this mix for the first time, and it was exactly what i needed. the 4 step instructions were simple and printed on the bottle label, and worked the first time. After pouring the plates and letting them solidify, the plates came out super clear making it easy to see what could be growing. Great mixture and would definitely purchase again.
