I purchased agar in petri dishes. One pkt had mold start in them in the package. Seller replaced and then some. I definitely will buy again!

Normally I’d order empty dishes and pour my own agar. Due to timing/space constraints I gave these a try. They worked great. Whenever the budget allows for it I’ll buy these over pouring my own.

Ordered for a little experiment on hand sterilizers. NOTHING grew at all. Even the initial dirty hand. Later took a still “sterile” plate and flooded it with a soil solution. Still nothing. So much for science. I should know what I was doing as I am a retired microbiologist.

I grew out some spores from a spore print on the plate and then put the chunks in some grain for spawning but the mycelium didn't jump from the agar to the grain effectively.

I ordered two packs of 10 each for a total of 20. I needed 18 to complete a lab. 5 of the dishes (2 from one pack and 3 from another) arrived with broken lids making them unusable in the experiment. It was obvious that this was a subpar plastic and I will not be ordering from this company again.

These are great. We used them to determine how well the boys were cleaning the house and lets just say they need to step up their game, Results start in just a couple of days. No prep, just use and wait.
