Works well to optimize position of OTA antenna signals real time without TV or power. Lots of functions to view specific bands to view lower level signals. Good sources online for instructions on how to use it. It is pretty intuitive once you figure out the basics.

Who would have thought that you could have Spectrum Analyzer AND Signal Generator capabilities for such a great price? I've used this unit at home and to measure spectrum at a repeater site. It works well standalone, BUT connecting it to a laptop gives you a lot more flexibility, ease of use, and ability to save or record measurements for future sharing. I've also used the Signal Generator function. You can even enter PL or CTCSS tones for FM modulation to test repeater receivers.

I am used to Spectrum Analyzers being big and not very portable. This one will fit in a shirt pocket. So going in the atticor on they roof, easily fits in pocket to keep your hands free. Also uses a rechargeable battery and uses USB C charging. For OTA Antenna alignment, if you know the frequency of the stations or group of stations you are trying to receive, just connect the rf cable, set your frequency range and rotate your antenna while monitoring signal levels on the TinySA.I bought specifcally for that purpose, but it also operates as a signal generator. Haven't used that function or had the need too. There is not much more I can say that others haven't already said. Decent product at a fair price.

The TinySA Spectrum Analyzer is a remarkable tool packed with features in a compact, portable design. Despite its small size, it delivers accurate and reliable results, making it perfect for hobbyists and professionals alike. The interface is intuitive, with a clear display that’s easy to navigate, even for beginners. I’ve used it to analyze signals across a wide range of frequencies, and it performs exceptionally well, providing detailed insights that are usually found in much more expensive equipment. The rechargeable battery and portability are huge pluses, allowing me to take it anywhere. If you’re looking for a powerful, budget-friendly spectrum analyzer, the TinySA is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

I was worried I got a knockoff, but after doing some checking I found I got the real McCoy. I really like this little thing. I dont have a professional use for it, just a neat toy to fool around with. Its capable of doing more than I'll likely ever use it for. Still, its a nice addition to my SDR and GMRS hobby. It came with all the little parts you'd need. Only downside is that freq. 100khz-350mhz and 240-960mhz are split between two SMA connections on the side. Cant have it all.

The screen is a bit small but usable. With the software and USB it's much easier to use on a PC where you can make the display as big as you want. I tested it with a function generator for a frequency standard and it is acceptably accurate. Both the sine wave and square wave look like what you would expect. This is an excellent addition to my test gear at an amazing price. Came from a vendor recommended by the manufacturer as not a clone as well. I have been finding it very useful and hard to beat for this much money.

I saw this unit on Youtube, Shango066 using it to repair radios and TVs and had to have on.You can use it to generate frequencies, such as IF, or to align receivers. And the Spectrum Analyzer can be used to see if the local oscillator is working. It works quite well, having this replaces a lot of large bulky equipment.
