The TinySA Ultra+ represents a significant upgrade from its predecessors, offering impressive functionality in a portable package. The 4-inch display provides excellent visibility of spectral data, with responsive touch controls and intuitive menu navigation. The frequency range from 100kHz to 5.4GHz covers most common applications, making it versatile for RF development and troubleshooting. The integrated signal generator function up to 900MHz is a valuable addition, effectively making this a 2-in-1 tool that reduces the need for separate test equipment. The hardware version 0.4.6 brings welcome stability improvements, though occasional software updates are still recommended for optimal performance. The included 32GB card provides ample storage for captures and sweeps.Performance-wise, the sensitivity and dynamic range are surprisingly good for the price point. The noise floor is manageable, and the frequency accuracy is reliable enough for most hobbyist and professional applications. The battery life is decent, lasting several hours of continuous use, though it's worth noting that intensive scanning can drain it faster. One minor consideration is the learning curve - while the interface is well-designed, newcomers to RF analysis should expect some time to become proficient. The documentation could be more comprehensive, but the active user community helps fill any knowledge gaps. For anyone working with RF systems, amateur radio, or wireless development, this analyzer offers exceptional value, providing professional-grade features in an accessible, portable format.

Very intuitive in use! Using it in the ham radio bands. Screen is pretty easy to see. You do need to use the stylus that comes with it.

Truly an amazing device for the size and price. Even though I worked many years in electronic testing, I am at the bottom of the learning curve but proceeding due to the great text and videos available. I believe that this SA will handle most of the functions of a large Spectrum Analyzer.

Does what a highend spectrum analyzer does in the palm of your hand for pennies!

Using this TinySA Ultra spectrum analyzer to detect walkie talkie frequencies. I'm in situations where there's a lot of traffic in the 150 MHz and 440 MHz bands and need to find a frequency that won't interfere with local signals. After an initial test, the TinySA Ultra worked exactly as the videos online showed. The guitar pick to navigate the menus works great. I was able to begin detecting within minutes and able to track peaks quickly. I love how portable the spectrum analyzer is and it's fast! It scans the frequencies almost instantaneously for a narrow frequency range. I'm also astounded at all the different features I haven't even tried yet - headphone jack, signal generator... so much more to try! So glad I went with the real deal (look out for imitations). Can't wait to connect to a laptop and keep tweaking it to meet my needs for RF analysis!

Given the price, it works great

I enjoy the big screen and ease of use. If you're already familiar with the NanoVNA then you'll likely find it easy to navigate this analyzer. Still getting used to all that it can do, but the one thing I quickly noticed, it does take a fair amount of time to scan frequencies looking for harmonics. I'll do an update once I get more time under my belt with this.

Excellent price for high-quality highly capable device. Other reviewer‘s cover all of the pros, and only slight complaint I have is the 10db 25 W attenuator was not labeled. Would also be nice if calibration connectors were included. After conversion of Chinese characters and much research, I believe I found the specs for this device. See attached photos.Photos show product as received. While the box it arrived in provides good cushioning, I’ve switched to a pelican case for added travel and moisture protection, see photos. Because the device does not come with calibration connectors, I’ve also added a calibration kit and other adapters to make life easier to use it and to protect the SMA connectors on the device. After careful examination with a magnifying glass the 6db attenuator label can be seen.Although the price has increased $50 since July it is still an excellent product and a bargain.
