There are only three limitations to this device, but two are kind of big:1. Songs are assigned a numbered order, but there's no menu to navigate songs or folders and you can't see a list, so you have to just know the number of the song to find it. The more songs you have, the harder it gets.2. Similar issue with the radio. Have to enter the frequency number for the station you want. No scan function, or even a dial to rotate to find the station you want. You either know it's number, or have to randomly (or sequentially) start plugging them in, which gets tedious.Obviously radio sound can only be as good as the reception. Some places were good, but it could be better. Antenna wire is strao is clever. Not sure it is as effective as an extendable rod antenna. That having been said, the sound quality is stunningly good, especially for something so small.

Well designed FM receiver. Just don’t try to remove the carrying strap as it is also the antenna. High marks for allowing access to the battery compartment because in time the battery will not hold a charge and will need replacing. I just wish Cell Phones had easy access to the battery compartment . so that the customer could do the replacing. The sound can be turned up high without distortion. The frequency that you dial in stays on which I like to see. The built in flash light is a useful addition. I would have given it five stars if this model had a tuning wheel to give it more flexibility. Sill it’s a solid well made FM receiver.

Ligero, funciona bien. Lo único que no me gusta es que la batería dura muy poco en uso continuo

I do not know how long this device will last, but now it works perfectly! The volume, sound quality is beyond praise, all functions work. I am very pleased with the purchase! I recommend it to everyone.

I really love this radio / MP3 player. Good radio reception, great sound from its little speaker, removable and replaceable rechargeable battery (they've adopted a common Nokia cellphone battery), accepts stereo headphones, can play MP3s from micro-SD card. Quibbles:1. Aux port is a line-in not a line-out. I'd like to connect this to a larger amplifier.2. You can't select which radio stations as presets, it chooses all stations in the area that are in range as presets.Another thing it does well: you can power it through USB, recharging the battery, while continuing to play music. And I like that it doesn't attempt to be a clock (so I don't have to keep adjusting it to be in sync). The on-off switch is a positive slider that can't be accidentally switched like touch sensitive buttons can sometimes be.

When I had read all the mixed reviews, I decided what the hey as this would only set me back a few bucks. I purchased model 088 in red for an upcoming camping trip. When I opened the box, there was the radio, battery, & a small set of instructions on a piece of paper (which is nice, considering that per the reviews, I believe none of them had instructions). I decided not to program the radio channels in the radio, due to reading that once it's programmed, then you can't remove non stations. I also like the fact that the volume was a dial & not buttons, because then I could finely adjust the volume to the desired level.Overall, I was very pleased with the sound quality & complete play time of the radio. For it being such a small radio (think 2000s cell phone w/ qwerty size), I was impressed overall. The complete play time (with a fully charged battery- which takes approximately 3-4 hrs to fully charge) from start to finish was about 10 hrs. I used a micro sd card to play my music. The only thing is, if you are someone who wants to know what's playing, it only shows the number of the song. So I would recommend either putting different genres on different cards, or making an accompanying song list to reference. When the radio was turned off & turned back on, it picks right up where it was stopped. The FM radio reception was good & had no issues with it.Needless to say, the camping trip was more enjoyable with a little music to soundtrack to. I recommend this radio to anyone who is looking for a decent radio at a low cost.

As many others have stated, this is an amazing little find. Heres what I love, put this in context that I got this for less than $17: GOOD FM RECEPTION I like listening to the radio when walking my dog, now can finally do it - its small enough to put it in my pocket. I use headphones, and the sound is stereo. One quirk is the volume is off between the headphones and the speaker...when I plug in the headphones, I need to crank up the volume...and when I unplug, need to turn volume way down.QUALITY OF SPEAKER - its great for this price point, it can fill a room with no issues. ABILITY TO CONNECT TO ANOTHER DEVICE - I use it as a speaker for my Android. No Bluetooth, uses a simple aux sound cord. Also, can plug it into your car if it has an aux jack. OK, this is a few features that stood out for me.Also, very quirky, but got to love the flashlight that comes with it!!Regarding battery life, I get ~ 3 hours of use, but given I plug in my phone every day, I just remember to plug in this fairly frequently as well. As another has mentioned, it appears to be a common sized battery, so can get a back up if wanted. Also, look around -- there appears that the folks in China are marketing all sorts of variations of this device under different brands, and sold through different outlets...I just found another that keeps time and has an alarm, so going to get one of those.

This is one SWEET little FM receiver, USB, Micro SD/TF card player! I use it primarily to listen to NPR FM radio and music around the house and garage, and it works GREAT! My guess is that the FM antenna is internal, and being that it receives only in mono, reception is great (at least in our major metro area). I love the manual rotary volume control too. The only improvements would have been some kind of slide out mini stand on the back of the unit, so you could angle it up at you for maximum sound quality as you are sitting down at a table or desk. It also would be cool if they came out with one of these units in stereo, with left and right speakers with an external antenna (would be necessary). Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the manual is in 'Chinglish', and hard to understand. BUT thanks to reviewers like 'M. Erb', who provides us with a video review of this product here, it is now easy to program and use. All in all, this is a practical, cool little receiver and music player, and it sounds really excellent.
