So far this chlorinating float is very nice, looks pretty at night and seems to be working.Very easy to open I use 3-3” pucks, think it holds 4. Would purchase again.

This is hands down the cutest chlorine tab floater. Lights still work after being in pool 2 seasons and still opens easy to put tabs in

I recently purchased one of these solar ball chlorine floaters. I'm very pleased with it!Here's what to note about chlorine holders in general:All tab holders begin to erode within 3-4 months, so I replace mine regularly to look nice. I've only had this one in a few weeks, so I don't know yet how it will endure the pool chemicals and outside elements.They only hold a couple of tabs. You can add an extra one, but then the globe won't float entirely above the water line. I believe they're designed this way, so you can buy several to light up the pool at night. I love seeing mine floating out there in the dark. It's like having a little moon in my pool!

I like that you just have to swivel the tube around to get to the opening to add more chlorine rather than take it off. My old version was hard to rethread back together. Doesn't hold as many 3in tablets as my old one but it's fun and lights up the pool at night! Worked well right out of the box! Would recommend

***UPDATE***After 2 near full days of sun this is working well amd delivery light for several hours a night. I've updated rating to reflect that. I am.concerned about the size of the holes for the water circulation and dispersement of chlorine. I'll be watching that the next couple of weeks.This is multi colored and pulses brighter and dimmer on an interval. It's quite pleasant to watch, and attractive in the pool with the reflections it creates.My suggestion is to give it a couple of full days of sun to charge the batteries before using.It doesn't work. I charged it in full sun for 7 hours, it's been dark for less than an hour, no lights at all.Packaging could be better. The box was too large, and it was able to flop and bang around in the shipping box. There was a small cradle, bit it wasn't attached. I think a better cradle with something to fixate it in place would be beneficial.

I bought this to replace the normal blue and white tablet floater for my pool. The light comes on at dusk and stays lit all night, with a beautiful slow pulsing glow of lights. My pool guy says that it is easy to fill and holds a good amount of tablets.After nearly 3 months of use, it still looks like new, so I expect it will last for a while; the regular floaters typically start to crack from the Arizona sun after about 6-9 months. The price was only a few bucks more than the normal floaters, so given the beauty and apparent quality, I’d say that this is a great buy.

Overall design is elegant and looks pretty in the pool. I still bought these knowing they’d only last one AZ summer.But dangit they are so dim! Maybe I needed to charge longer? IDK. They charged all afternoon.2nd pic is iPhone 15, 1st pic is what it really looks like. No patio lights were on for either photo.In summary, they look great in the water and are seemingly well constructed, but are not bright and won’t last.Also cheap enough to not make a huge mistake.Buy with caution.
