I purchased a Saftag Plug because of the great reviews and very reasonable month fee. The tracker was very easy to install, setup and activate my account in a short time. The tracker also has neat options to customize map settings, geofence distance and more. The tracker has worked exceptionally well and only had a very minor issue with battery level reading. I reached out to tech support and not only did they respond quickly, but were very professional, friendly and wanted to help me correct the issue. It was fixed quickly and I really appreciated the outstanding customer service from Safetag. I recently purchased a 2nd Safetag Plug for my other vehicle and I'd definitely recommend this product. 5 Stars!

I bought this for my 82 year old elderly parents who still drive. They are still mobile and independent so I installed this unit just for some piece of mind. It is small and discreet so it’s no bother to them. The monitoring fee is around five or six bucks a month, it is pretty accurate and reliable. It updates location every thirty seconds so it’s not live but that’s all I need. Set up was easy and painless. I set up monthly so I can easily drop service when I’m ready. You can opt to pay for a full year Im not sure what other options there were for service but I’m happy monthly and would recommend this to any one with similar needs.

Purchased this car tracker after I decided to rent my car on Turo with the fear that someone might steal my car. I searched multiple devices on Amazon and google and everything was minimum $10 per month minimum. I came across this device which is $5.99 (or $60 a year) subscription and it also has the benefit where you can plug it in so it never loses power.Pros:1. Never have to recharge it or keep track of the battery life as it always draws it from the car.2. Very easy plug and play3. Cheapest subscription fee I could find.4. It creates a map of where the car has gone plus tracks speed of the car, notifies if when the car moves and the app is really easy to use.5. Also worked with my Toyota Prius as I was worried since the fine print says it may not work with hybrid vehicles.Cons:1. As all OBD devices, it can technically be removed by the renter/driver at any time. (I tapped my down so it's hard to remove).Overall, I'm very happy with this product. The initial purchase fee for the item is higher than other devices but the yearly subscription fee by far saves you the most compared to everything else. This item was exactly what I was looking for and I'm very happy.

This little guy has saved my day twice! My suburban has been stolen twice since I've had this GPS tracker installed . both times i was immediately able to track its location, and recover my vehicle without having to call the police or file a report. Its value has far surpassed its price.

I rarely write reviews but am very happy with this tracker. I've had it for over a year. The tracker was easy and quick to activate. The app works great - easy and intuitive. On top of that the customer service is excellent, which is rare these days. I was NOT compensated in any way for this review. Good product, good company.

I ordered one and it never did work and after numerous emails with staff at safetag still the same. It never worked and was supposed to have a seven day free trial I was told. They new it never connected yet they tried to bill me for the subscription. SCAM ALERT

Not a great deal you can go into when it comes to fitting as it just plugs into the odb port and your away. Added the app, picked payment method and your away. Pretty much came live in 5 minutes. Im hoping theres a setting which sends a notification if vehicles moved whilst not being in it, if not its no big issue for me. Just adding another level of security to the van and monthly subscription plus the price of the unit itself doesn't amount to that much especially when it comes to the extra piece of mind. Give it a 5* as everything so far was so plain sailing

I was surprised by the accuracy of this device and even more so with the excellent customer services when I contacted them about settings. They responded within a couple of hours with a full response. It is very easy to install. Literally plug and play. The Company are improving their app and website in a few months and responded positively to my suggestions. It works on both mobile and website for a tablet or laptop. It provides a position and speed reading every 30 seconds. You require a subscription to get the tracker to work up front but with a seven day free trial. As you can tell I was impressed. The only negative point I can think of is that the operating instructions need to be more comprehensive as there are settings and options on it you need to know.

After a neighbour had his car stolen, I decided to investigate trackers. Safe Tag impressed me by the comments about Customer Service, and the plug seemed the most satisfactory. I was amazed at the price, not just the initial purchase cost, but at the yearly license cost. Easy to install doesn't really do it justice. Clear instructions meant I had it running in no time, and tracked the short journey I needed to make to activate the product. I did have to contact support to enquire about changing from monthly to annual subscription (at time of writing £4.99 to £49.99) and had a reply within a couple of hours. Very helpful and chatty. My car shows clearly on the map, and I can see where my wife has parked for her shopping. I find this product amazing, and have no hesitation in recommending it.

A car tracker needs to be reliable in all areas. Personally I am off grid in terms of mobile signal and Internet in very rural Cumbria. This tracker and app worked accurately from day 1.Easy set up. Do a 10 minute drive to complete installation, as per instructions. Couldn't be simpler.Well done Safe Tag
