I bought this item thinking itn will do as described, but to my surprise it does not.I have a mid size dog, she loves to play and catch tennis balls, but this item throws the ball maybe 10 feet and with barely any power, my dog learn how to put the balls in the container, but got completely bored that it does not throw it far enough. This item might be good for a small dog, but on the other hand the small dog cant put the tennis ball in its mouth.Don't waste your money buying it, if it wasn't for some scratches that my dog did to it, I would return it.

Your dog needs to be smart enough to play by them selves with this ball launcher. If they are not afraid of it and can get used to how it works, then it's the best toy ever. If they cant figure it out or if they are afraid of it, then its the biggest waste of money ever. The safety features are awesome but our dog get so excited she still gets bashed in the head sometimes. Hopefully she will learn. It does an excellent job of throwing the ball inside the house as it has multiple power and height settings. We are on the lowest settings while we wait for summer and can set it up outside.

Would be nice if could throw the balls further and don't like the 15 minute timer. Was delivered in original box and not even taped down. As this was a birthday present for my daughter to give to give to her dog, the surprise was ruined as she had to sign for it when delivered. I was so upset:(Update: our dog is so upset as tbe launcher stopped working after 5 months of light use. He loved his toy and really misses it. But reluctant about getting another one in case the same thing happens. It is not a cheap toy.Ozzie learn't very quickly how to put the balls in but got impatient when it did not fire the balls quick enough so he would paw it and then knock it over as it is very lightweight. Therefore we had to sit beside it to hold it so he could not knock it over:(As soon as we would bring it out to play our other dog would run away and hide in his bed. It is quite noisy but at least you know when NOT to walk in front of it.Really disappointed:(

I have a Shiba Inu. Shiba’s are not known for fetching, and returning (more like fetch & keep-away), but when you have several balls, they fetch and stockpile!! When my Shiba hears the warning tone, he will get in a crouch, ready to take chase - it’s pretty funny! He’ll chase and acquire balls until I get tired, but being a Shiba, loading the machine is beneath him!! BUT he loves the game!!Watch out though, the toque from launch, rotates the machine a little bit with each launch, so if you use it indoors, place it on a sticky, or non-skid surface!!

Jajajaja. Buena compra si tienes jardin claro.

it did not perform as well as in the video, and it makes noise that scares my dog. in time I think she will get used to it and like playing with it.

This product was a waste of time and money! I could not get it to work consistently. The projection of the ball was always delayed and on top of it I missed the return deadline and now I am stuck with this worthless piece of plastic junk!!

I have a dog that does not stop fetching and sometimes it gets very annoying. I bought this for him thinking 150$ would most likely give me a solid product. The body is made of thin plastic that would crack very easily given that an excited dog could be knocking it over and over. Also, it isn't consistent when it launches the ball. Sometimes it launches right away and other times it can take up to a minute and I can assure you I did not get a bad one. The ball also doesn't travel very far. I figured it would at least go 20 yards but the max distance with the knob turned all the way is about 10 feet. Don't be fooled by the video. It makes the product look a lot better than it is. I would give this product 5 stars if it was 20$ but for 150$ it gets 1 star.

We wanted to love it! We've seen adorable videos online of dogs playing fetch with automatic ball launchers. Our dogs love to play fetch and we thought they would love this launcher. Sadly, it just isn't a great machine.Pros: it's lightweight and easy to useCons: it's very slow to launch, the safety mechanism that prevents the launcher from firing the ball when something is too close to the machine causes the launch to be even further delayed, the balls don't launch very far (even at strongest settings), the machine is quite loud, the alarm beeps scare my dogs, the plug is a bit flimsy and easy to accidentally yank out, the hopper where the dogs drop the ball gets jammed if two or more balls are present, the launcher cost quite a bit of money for the quality of play from the machine

This ball launcher is definitely the best toy we have ever purchased for our dogs. They play with it all day every day. Pros: We have used it both indoors and out due to the use of power plug or battery-powered options. adjustable force/distance and throwing angle. The big open basket allows easy use for both our german shepherd and our toy poodle (although she has to go up on her hind legs to place the ball in the basket.)Cons: The well-intentioned safety features - the motion detector and auto-rest. 1. The motion detector is intended to keep the dogs from getting hit in the head by a ball however it has a 7-foot distance and I could not get my dogs to stay that far back - they get too excited and want to stand right in front of it to catch it mid-air. So we eventually just placed masking tape over the sensor allowing the dogs to play at will. The balls are not thrown hard enough to seriously injure the dogs. 2. Auto-rest feature. This feature causes the launcher to go into a standby mode 15 minutes after a ball is thrown. The intention is that the dogs would play with it continually for 15 minutes, then take a 15-minute break before they resume. However, my dogs don't typically play with it continusouly. They will play with it once or twice then either chase each other or lay down to chew on the balls and by the time they are ready to use it again the 15 minutes are up and they cannot figure out why it won't throw the ball. I get the intent, especially if the dog is outside on a hot day and not being monitored, but there needs to be an option to disable this feature.

One of the best things I ever bought my dog! He loves it and so do I. With all the rain we have been getting this was just the thing to entertain him inside. It isn't that loud. I had read some of the reviews and was a bit worried. He isn't afraid of the sound. It only took me a few tries to get him to put the ball in. I recently took it outside to use and I love the way it can be adjusted for outdoor use. I highly recommend this for your dog!
