We used the machine barely 3 x and each time was no longer then 5-10 throws. We started working on training our dog so we took the toy away until she would drop the ball in our hand, as we brought the toy out to use it no longer turned on. This was very sad for the price point to only make it through 3 (5min) sessions

The thrower worked well for about 30 throws, then would throw the ball less and less. Not working at all within two days.

I thought this one didn’t make noise. It does. At first my dog was scared, now she 🥰 green vine ball launcher.Yes, you need their 2” balls, and yes you don’t want your dog to chew them, and it’s important that the ball falls into place in front of the tab, but it’s great fun especially on rainy days.From reading reviews, I make sure she doesn’t stand in front looking at thrower so it doesn’t hit her in face, and that she’s not facing it from far away, which was pretty natural since she looks where the ball might be tossed anyway. I thought it was pricey at first, but she really enjoys it & can play with it at length…so worth it!

The cheap plastic body is not the problem. Right out the box the ball throwing mechanism, when it was not jamming never propelled the ball to the set distance. It barley reached the minimum distance of 10 ft. But, I am keeping it because my dog that doesn't like fetch likes to run around it and play.
