Says it will test your pet which is a load of rubbish. There’s things on allergy test that dogs aren’t even allowed Don’t waste your money.

Vet told me my cat has food allergiesShe was constantly biting her back by her tail and pulling her fur out so I bought this kit sent in her fur and now have her complete allergy lists and it saved me about $300 that the vet would charge for blood work at the vet. Now her fur is growing back and she’s not scratching and biting anymore. All I have to do is read the cat food labels.

I ordered these for my 3 dogs hoping to get results like the product said in the description when purchased. However I have not recieved an email or call and I do see now that there are several others that have also not recieved results when they purchased these test. I spent hard earned money on these for it to be a scam. I would really appreciate a refund or a clear answer to where my test results are...Tara McDavid

It’s a waste of money I did it was simple easy to send off cheaper then the vet anyways it said she was allergic to all these items so I was freaking changing diets shopping around so hard to find food with limbered ingredients that don’t smell like barf ya know what I mean if you had to go through it anyways baby girl wasn’t getting any better after changing diet over a year having had enough I went to the vet and got her an allergy test yes it cost 250 but worth it she is allergic to mites all of them so that’s awful but at least she can eat more foods now just disappointed I didn’t do it sooner. Hope this was helpful cheers

Our dog suffers from lots of allergies and intolerances. We dd the vet expensive test for environmental allergens (she is on immunotherapy for those) and this one we did mainly for food intolerances. We didn't get the results initially but with a great customer service we did get them separately in my email and also got the full list of items the test included, upon our separate request. Now about the results. Several of the environmental allergies are similar to those we got in the vets test so that is good. About the items that our dog tested high for food intolerance I still need to investigate but I am surprised that potato and chicken were not in the list as I know that our dog is highly sensitive to both of them! Anyways will introduce some new foods into her diet based on the results and only time will tell!

I bought this product to try and find the reasons for my dogs skin condition. Test was easy to use and results were back quickly. Test showed several wrong sensitivities, one being chicken which is one of the most common products in most dog foods. By removing this from his diet the skin condition completely resolved within a month. After many trips to the vet this was a very cheap way to resolve an issue that was very distressing for my dog.

The positives first - the test arrived on time and the directions were easy to follow. The hair was taken from my dog and sent for testing. The results were received within a week and was quicker than promised. Now the negatives - I am extremely disappointed with the outcome / results. I do consider that the list of items to be tested is misleading.I bought this test in the hope that it would point us in the right direction with digestive issues and which foods could start to be avoided if they showed a high reading. It has only advised things that my dog was highly sensitive to which are not foods you would actually feed to a dog.I have sent an email to the company and expressed my disappointment who have kindly responded to advise that "the test is designed to not only test for items a pet is most likely to be fed but also items they may come into contact with whether this is outside or unintentionally. Therefore we test for a number of foods more commonly consumed by humans which a pet may ingest.I have requested a copy of all of the items that my dog has been tested for but so far a response is awaited.I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this test to anyone seeking to rule out allergies / intolerance's for their pet.

Let me start by saying that I've been wanting to try the other allergy test on Amazon, but it's $150 and I can't imagine shelling that out right now. When I saw this one was less than half of the price, I knew I had to try it.My 3 year old rescue pit mix Ziggy has always been noticeably itchy, and occasionally has loose stools, but I never really put 2 and 2 together that those could be due to an underlying allergy.I brushed my pup and put a few hairs in the bag, and sent it off. No more than maybe a week or so later, I received an email with our shocking results. It claims that Ziggy is allergic to chicken, beef, salmon, venison, brown rice, barley and peas. He eats 2 different foods and the 2 main ingredients are beef and salmon. I frantically tried searching for a healthy food that doesn't contain ANY of those products, but it's virtually impossible so I decided to just cut back on the "extra" treats, and really focus on what was going into his body to see if I could narrow his allergies by process of elimination. For the past few days, he's been eating his salmon breakfast, beef dinner, and mostly fruit/vegetable treats in between. Not going to lie, he seems fine.I also recently read that there's no way to diagnose a dog with a food allergy through hair/blood/saliva. The best way is by doing an elimination diet. Regardless, this test was fun and I will play with the results. Take it with a grain of salt.
